Absolutely amazing meal. I had the New York strip. Easily one of the top 5 steaks I’ve ever had. Wife had the vegan enchiladas that were delicious. We shared a stuffed avocado and breaded Chile strips. Two new dishes that knocked our socks off. Staff were very friendly, responsive, and made frequent checks. The owner was engaging and very friendly. Absolutely on our return next year for our anniversary trip restaurant list!
I have been here several times in years past while visiting town. Some things have clearly changed with this place and I want to warn others.
I will start with the positive of my dine in visit today. The server was very friendly and took good care of me. She is the only reason this gets 2 stars and not 1. I reciprocated her efforts with a generous tip.

Grill Caliente does have the best Chile relleno I’ve ever had. I 100% agree with Marylou. It is breaded just how I like my rellenos, crispy. I also ordered the stuffed avocados. They were delicious as well. I highly recommended Grill Caliente. Great service and not too pricey.
