This restaurant lives up to the positive reviews. Really great breakfast and a very reasonable price. My wife and I ate ourselves silly for under $15 each. Service was very friendly and quick. Will definitely return!

Took my wife and daughter for breakfast. We were greeted at the front door by a rude, surly woman who appeared to be unhappy with our arrival. We gave her our name and phone number and were told to wait in our car and they would call in about 10-15 min when a table came open. After waiting 20 minutes with no call we decided to go somewhere else. As expected, we never got a phone call! It actually turned out fine because we ended up at the Alto cafe and had great breakfast with excellent service. After reading all the “Hype” about the Log Cabin, we were shocked by the horrible treatment we received.

The best place to have the most delicious breakfast! The first day, I had their pancakes, bacon and eggs and my husband had the biscuits and gravy. Sorry, forgot to take pictures. The pancakes melted in your mouth, they were the best pancakes I have ever had. The meals are NOT skimpy. After trying other places in town(which none of them can compare) to the log cabin, we had to come back on our way out of town. This time my husband ordered the oatmeal and I had the breakfast skillet again the food was delicious and the service was fantastic.

We had lunch but maybe breakfast would have been a better choice. Chicken fried chicken was bland. The mashed potatoes tasted as if they were instant. The much-hyped roll was tasteless. Service was good.

It was our first visit and it was simply delicious!! Between us, we ordered eggs, pancakes, French toast and every single item was tasty. Service was pleasant and efficient...we had to wait a little bit but I think that was due to a shortage of workers. This location has the cabin feel and it was perfect compliment to the local scenery. Put this on your list of places to eat in ever in Ruidoso!

Sat outside under tent during COVID. Nice waitress good food. Eggs Benedict good. Burgos Rancheros spicy and good. Would go again.
the bison burger was so delicious, the French fries were ridiculously tasty. the staff were super awesome. definitely will eat here again

We had the New Mexico chili cheese steak sandwich and onion rings. The sandwich was excellent with hot green chili. The onion rings were superior as well.

This is a charming family restaurant you've got to try if you come to Ruidoso. The waffles are awesome. The portion sizes are huge, so bring your appetite. Highly recommend.

Fantastic! Will be back again ASAP! I had the gouda buffalo meatloaf, fresh mashed potatoes, and homegrown veggies. I highly recommend that dish, however I am excited to try their other yummy dishes. Service was great and friendly too. Thank you!

Is race a problem? Didn’t eat there and would never come back because 4 parties that came AFTER me got seated and I was a party of 2 and 2 out of the 4 were parties of 2. Went up to the host and our name wasn’t even on the board. We got seated no one came to us 10 mins went by the 15 mins (I was being patient cause it’s a Sunday) BUT a couple got seated and a soon as they were seated they were asked about drinks. No one ever came around.
