The food was so good we considered going a second time on our visit to Ruidoso. The service was excellent/friendly. Every single thing we ordered was fresh out of the kitchen and very tasty. The authentic taste of the curry reminded me so much of my time in Japan.

First time eating here we ordered takeout and we’re not impressed. Sushi was mediocre at best. No utensils were provided and no sauces were provided. My wife ordered veggie tempura and we didn’t get any tempura sauce to dip it in. Very disappointing. Not worth the $100 we spent. We won’t be eating here again.

Every time I eat here, I forget I am in Ruidoso. Which is a very good thing. In a town with nothing but mediocre “Mexican” places (stale green chile, yellow cheese and grease on everything) this is a breath of fresh air. A lot of small towns have your standard mediocre sushi place, but this place is strangely elevated. The fish feel fresh, the presentation is on point and the food is always delicious. I highly recommend the unagi bowl and the seared salmon dinner. Superb.

A pleasant find. Often sushi places in mountain towns are disappointing, but Ruidoso Sushi had a solid selection and quality. We really liked their interpretation of the standard spicy tuna. This one had a nice twist with more flavor. A couple of the adjoining tables were having Ramen. Looked and smelled delicious and that's what the patrons said. Would be a great afternoon stop on a cold fall day.

Noticed this place kind of tucked away, so me and my friend decided to check it out. The waiter we had was so nice and polite! He brought our food out quickly. Pretty sure he was the cook/owner too. Very clean atmosphere and great music selection. Good prices. The food was SO fresh and everything had a great quality. Lots of variety and other items available for the non sushi eaters. Best sushi in the Alamogordo/Ruidoso area, IMO. As a Ruidoso local, will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends!
Wow, can’t believe I waited so long to try this place! Food was too good I couldn’t stop to take pictures. I had the rice bowl with orange chicken and it had the right amount of orange zest and spice to it. My wife had the classic ramen and it was exactly what you expect. The pork was super clean and the Naruto fish cakes didn’t have that super fishy smell like other places and the broth was perfectly seasoned. 10 out 10 definitely recommend. Can’t wait to try everything else on their menu.

1st time trying and will definitely be coming about again. From the moment we walked in we were treated with great service. The waitress was very informative about the items on the menu. The waitress was on top of everything. From our drinks to what we were ordering they made everything a wonderful experience. This place is better than Tokyo restaurant in SouthEast New Mexico. I highly recommend the Spider roll and Ruidoso roll that are pictured. Thanks Ruidoso Suhi for going above and beyond.
