Loved this store. So many varieties of teas. Can smell them all & have samples of the jams. They also have essential oils & soaps. We bought a green tea flower bloom I think it was called.

Went in to purchase “souvenir “ and Christmas gifts for our tea loving family and friends. I ended up getting 2 tins for myself. There are “tester” jars to open and smell the blends. The teas are grouped by caffeine levels, very helpful when you have family that have to watch their caffeine intake. There are teas also grouped by health benefits. The owner was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the tea. There were brewed offerings to try and gifts of a variety of price points. Highly recommend as a place to visit, if you or someone you know is a tea drinker.

ADORABLE I walked in and sneezed and was greeted with a bless youvery kind workers! Lol and also they had told us about samples on anything we were interested in, I swear I wanted to buy everything because of how sustainable it all is, glass jars, paper bags, rapped in tissue paper! We also got a card because they ship teas! Thank god because I've been wanting to come back everyday to get a new tea to try because everything from here is delicious!... Well the tincture is a little weird tasting by itself but you can put it in hot water or tea, and it's crazy how good it works I was a skeptical but woah..noticing the difference it makes is way worth it! I used to go to sleep at 2-3am but taking the knockout tincture makes me sleep like a rock from 11-7am and waking up refreshed instead of groggy, I haven't tried the brainiac one but my boyfriend said it really helps when he goes it work in those early mornings and he felt it wear off because he said he was actually able to stay awake in the morning. Walking into the store was such a vibe, everything on display, you can open the samples to smell the teas, it makes it so much easier to know what you want. OH and I thought it was so adorable how they have plants filtering water for their fish! It's such a good experience and I felt if I was going to give my money to a hardworking family business this is it. We were curious about the honey and the different tastes and I love how natural they are, the sugars the taste and feels real! And it's way better than any store bought honey I've got, we got to try samples of those and the worker he was so kind to give us generous amounts. Unfortunately when we went they were out of their kombucha! BUUT they recommended another store that carry's the exact one they have! Amazing! They were also patient when we got everything payed for and ordered and forgot to get the jelly so we had to pay for that itself too. THANK YOU GUYS

This place is always lovely! But the last time I went someone stole everything I bought after I left the store! When I came back to repurchase they gave me my replacements free of charge after I told them what happened! I was extremely grateful and will definitely return on my next trip to Ruidoso.

The Old Barrel Tea Co has a lot of great stuff in their shops. From eco-friendly essentials to delicious honey! The teas are packaged in reusable tin containers. The staff members are friendly whenever I stop by.

Great friendly staff and very helpful in letting us try different samples to see how they tasted like. They spent a decent amount of time answering our questions. Ended up getting the banana bread flavored tea (would recommend). This tea is more gourmet so the taste reflects that compared to the generic ones you will find (as well as the price). There’s some other nice little cups and items as well.
Great store, awesome variety of teas and local honeys as well as other things. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Picked up the Dulce Suenos (sleep tea) and Mothers Milk, both are delicious blends. That Dulce Suenos will put you out like a light too! My little one loves tea parties and was happily telling the two lovely staffers about it, they were very sweet to her and offered her a tea.

Love this place! From the moment you walk in the door you feel a sense of peace and happiness. They have so many different flavors of teas and goodies to choose from. Thank goodness the staff are so helpful and patient, answering questions, giving suggestions and just being overall awesome. They will joyfully offer you ample samples of everything in the store that you hope will help you decide what to buy but unfortunately with everything being so delicious it only makes you want to buy it all.

Old Barrel quickly became a favorite from the first time I visited back in 2016. Every time I'm in Ruidoso, I have to go and stock up. Their tea deals are awesome, and they have so many cool goodies in there. We never regret spending some decent $$ to support locally-sourced products that are so delicious and also just good for you!
