Looking for a great little spot for breakfast? Look no further and head into Peña’s Place. The restaurant is small and definitely fills up but their food is worth the wait. From the friendly customer service to the delicious food you can’t go wrong. I had the breakfast burrito smothered in Christmas and I highly recommend. Also try their chips and salsa, it has a great bite to it.

I read the reviews before coming here, and they all basically said the food was really good, and the service was amazing. Honestly, their service was the first thing I noticed when we came in this morning. So friendly,comfortable, natural and the right amount of attentiveness. Loved it, and enjoyed the food! Will definitely go back next time we’re in Ruidoso!

Amazing affordable homecooked food. I got the breakfast burrito (8/10) and two pecan pancakes (9/10) with coffee. It was only $20 before tip, with good portions. It's small but very charming and cozy inside and the beautiful handmade tables and woodwork really add to the charm. Super friendly staff and patrons. I had a really great visit and I'll be sure to stop by next time I'm in this lovely town.

I'm not sure why there are so many good reviews. The chips were super stale, the food was bland and tasteless, and nothing was homemade. Not the taco shells, not the beans, and worst of all was the rice. I'm pretty sure it was the type of rice you microwave in the bag. Didn't even eat most of my food. Also, they have outdoor tables but told me they can't serve me outside.
