Don’t even think about it! We received the absolute worst service at the bar while we waited for our table. Destiny the bartender literally ignored us as we sat directly in front of her while she made drink after drink for the dining room. We were never greeted or offered anything. It was so bad that we contemplated leaving. I finally had to ask for service after 15 minutes. We didn’t get a drink for almost 30 minutes. I’m not sure what was worse, the service or her I don’t give a damn attitude. I can live with bad service if the bartender is somewhat apologetic. That was definitely not the case here. There was only 2 other couples at the bar and they received the same horrible service. As far as the food, it was average. I was hoping for more than average for a $53 steak. It was our fault for not reading their reviews first.

I had a craving for a steak and baked potato, and this place really hit the spot. We order the bacon wrapped chicken livers. They where okay but a little over cooked. I ordered the 6oz fillet and my wife ordered the coconut shrimp. The waiter also talked me into trying the green chili cream corn. My wife's shrimp where huge and delicious. I ordered my steak rare and it came out perfect. Honestly one of the best steaks I have had in recent memory. The baked potato was also perfect. The skin was nice and seasoned with a little crispness to it. The cream corn was too spicy for my wife and son but they where perfect for me. A nice balance of sweetness and spice. I had a really great experience overall. Had the liver not been burnt I would have given them a perfect score. Will definitely go back if we are ever in town again.

We used to love this place. We will not return. Both visits 6+ months apart we waited for over an hour for our food. We sat with children waiting for a server for 15 minutes before they realized whose table it was. Sadly it’s not worth the wait and upset kids. Go on a date with plenty of time to spare, and a dose of patience.
What a shame, I waited an hour and a half, for a cold steak.

Don’t not go!! Eat here twice before and the food is not worth the price they charge and the last time we walked out because we had a reservation at 6pm (we got there before) and put in our order shortly after. When we asked about our food at 0700 we were told it would be another 10-12 minutes. We felt over an hour of waiting was enough. If they can’t accommodate the reservations with their cooks, they should adjust them. There are plenty of good restaurants in Ruidoso this is not one of them.

3 of 4 steaks cooked wrong, 1 steak totally different cut, (so 4 out of 4) Gave us grilled catfish instead of fried as ordered, cold potatoes (even when sent back), incorrect drinks delivered after appetizers, and after we got our salads. The Waiter didn't care, and the Manager cared even less... 1 meal of 6 came correct. The table next to us left before they even got their food. Poor front and back of the house management. At 50.00 plus a person. I would not recommend this to anyone!
