I’ve eaten here twice, this year and last year aswell and both times the service was great and food was amazing, I got the chicken salad croissant and the tomato basil soup last year and it was perfect this year only thing changed was I got a mushroom crab soup and that was something I’ve never even tried it was so creamy and delicious and my favorite desserts are their blueberry cobbler cheesecake I got both last year and this year and I tried their buttermilk pie and it was so rich I ate it for dessert and breakfast and their portions are plentiful too. I love this place and their vibe and will be back in the future ?❤️Parking: Small walk across or down the street

Great little place to grab some delicious food in Ruidoso! Love the character it has and the patio is so nice especially when there is good warm weather. The employees are amazing, very friendly, and will go over all their menu items. The Famous Buttermilk Pie is a must so rich and tasty. 10/10 recommend to stop by!

This place is famed for it's pies, which I did not try, though they looked very good. The cream of asparagus soup was good. The green salad was okay. It was almost 100% tough spinach, and short on veggies, with cheap mushrooms being the main addition. For the price, it was okay, but not great. One of the staff was wonderful, the other two were fine, but not overly friendly; likely just tired. It is a cute place, just a little cramped. If the weather had been nicer out, I think sitting out on the porch would have been nice.Dietary restrictions: Good options for gluten-intolerant diets.
The gluten-free options were tasty and greatly appreciated. The staff is inviting and gracious. The building is cozy and warm. We will definitely be back when we're in Ruidoso again!

Not sure what’s going with this restaurant but not as good as it use to be. Ate there the last week of September 2023, twice, and both times the food quality was poor. Ordered the chicken noodle soup and it was a can of Progresso! Husband had chicken salad sandwich and there was a very, small amount in the middle of the bread. Quiche was dry. However, the pasta salad the tropical tea were good! Service was great. They need to step up the quality of their food, back to where it use to be! They have the best outdoor seating and could easily be a 5 star restaurant again. But now a 3!

Small restaurant with limited seating. The food is pretty good but nothing noteworthy. Sandwiches, wraps, quiche, soups and salads. The ordering and bill paying procedures are just nonsense. Wait in typically a long lines to do both. Nonstarter.

The place serves a steady line of people who order sandwiches. We, too, ordered tuna salad sandwiches. There was a small lump of it in the middle of tasteless white bread, which was labeled sourdough, a tiny strip of worn out lettuce and a portion of a slice of tomato. The plate was heaped with salty chips and the prickly pear ice tea was so weak, and further diluted with ice, that it was difficult to determine the flavor...All this for $15 a plate.A true disappointment...the gentleman wait staff brought water for the pooch, even without my asking- thank you...the young woman replenishing tea was not friendly....all this in a tourist destination?
