This place is absolutely stunning. The views. The atmosphere. The staff are fantastic. I loved the many things to do there plus the little camp fires at night all over the property was just perfect and the fireplaces inside for night time was just a perfect ending to the night. The only issue I had was with the waitress at the cafe in the resort. She kind of gave an attitude of I don't want to be here. Was extremely slow and then just disappeared at the end of the night I ended having to find a different waiter to clear the bill. All in all tho the accommodation was absolutely amazing
Amazing resort! It’s a true hidden gem! The property is beautiful, the staff friendly and the activities were fantastic!! Definitely make time for this resort!! We loved the cultural experiences offered. We made Pueblo bread, went horseback riding and learned about the culture. The food was so good! We had buffalo tenderloin at corn maiden it was fabulous!!!!
Stellar lodging, cuisine, ambience, and amenities. You cannot find a more exquisite place to stay in all of Albuquerque. The view of the Sandia Mountains is unmatched!
We had such and amazing stay at Tamaya, our kids loved the pool and the nightly smore. I absolutely loved the grounds and the extra trails for daily walks. The grounds and views are amazing. The staff was excellent the through and through we even got a complimentary upgrade which made our stay extra special when traveling as a family.
Do yourself a favor and book this place.
Front desk staff Hannah and Melissa were helpful in moving me to a room with a view of mountains and cottonwood.
The location is very good , out of town but very close to everything.
Great property. Quite, great views, relaxing. Has trails in the back. Can actually walk to the Rio Grand. Room was newly renovated. Jr suite. Comfortable bed, good water pressure, and coffee maker.
Golf course is a must if you play.
Great location if you are looking for a personal retreat
Beautiful property. Great bike trails and friendly staff
This is our family's favorite weekend staycation location. We live in ABQ and come a couple of times a year. We have a great time. The facility is beautiful, the staff is excellent, and the food is excellent. Riding horses, hiking along the river through the bosque, you really feel you're far from the city but it's just down the road.
Was going great until our travel plans changed. We gave over 48 hours notice and they refused to refund our last night’s stay. I would have been thrilled with paying a $100 cancellation fee or something, but that’s not enough for Hyatt Regency Tamaya. Seems like a bad policy when the resort caters to business travelers whose plans change often. An otherwise very pleasant stay was tarnished.
Stayed here for a work retreat and had a fantastic time. My room was very nice and clean with a great patio. The property is beautiful with plenty of trails to safely explore. Definitely worth a trip to the spa as well!

Always a good time. Good hospitality expressed by all the workers. Enough within the premises for a completely relaxing stay.
What an incredible hotel this was to stay at. The room was incredibly modern, clean, and touched on the local culture. The service from check in to room service was some of the best I’ve had. I would really recommend this hotel.
I was only there for a horseback ride. The resort is beautiful and views stunning.
My complaint is, the valet attendant was rude. They are the first impression of the resort and they were unimpressive. If you strive for being a classy resort, then the valet attendants must be very welcoming! I will not stay here.
Visited Oct 10th. Arrived at 940 and left at 1245. Both times valet attendant rude.
It's a great getaway. Been there three times as they host they graciously host the Jr PGA National Championship 17U tournament. It's so easy and laid back and a pleasure to be there. Staff is great, accommodations are reasonable and it's just a great, relaxing place to get your Zen on. Two nice good courses, hiking, spa, horseback riding. Casino nearby. Old Town Albuquerque is under 30 mins. Plus many activities to do.
Not sure if they have a king bed, but there Queens definitely are small for two people.
Prettiest scenery in the fall watching sunset across the mountains by the fire pit.
Lovely and relaxing. Good people as well.
Recently got back from a four night stay at Tamaya, it totally exceeded any expectation I had. The property is breathtaking, the service exceptional and you do not need to leave the property. Me and my two elementary aged sons did a couple experiences with the hotel-book early. The nature walk is a must just to familiarize yourself with the trails on property and learn more about the land. The kids really enjoyed the bread and the clay making. My 8YO rode a bike without training wheels for the first time on the trails and loved it-note there are helmets available. The food was great and the pool was warm. The golf course is outstanding. My eyes and heart were in heaven the entire time. Thank You Tamaya!!
