The place is amazing, but the drive through is a such a quite of wait
Chris Yazhi is a curbside drive through picķup food place, no indoor services due to pandemic. Serves our Navajo delicious foods cooked to perfection our own native ways. Foods have like heavy fat contents so be careful and mindful. I believe theý don't serve vegetarian recipes/meals. Navajo frybreads is a menu fav for many. It has great friendly services and you will enjoy! A cup of hot coffee or hot Navajo tea tops your meal.

Wait time long
I LOVE THIS PLACE we got our mutton fix
Restaurantji Recommends
I was eager to get my hands on a roast mutton sandwich, however, I had to wait in the ridiculous long line. Which is fine. I waited for almost an hour and the line suddenly stopped moving for a long time and it just didn't seem worth anymore. Then the person in front of me left so I followed. I couldn't wait any more. I wish the line kept going and didn't stop.
It was good and so was the service
I ordered dumpling stew with fry bread but got tortilla. The stew was too thick and the noodles were rolled thick and not cooked on the inside. Needs flavor .☹️
Tasty real traditional Navajo cuisine served in a residential area. I did a drive through pickup because of Covid so didn’t get to see the inside of the place (inside was closed then). They serve food until they run out so go early. Usually all gone by 3pm (before closing time of 5pm). Their schedule changes seasonally so check their FB page before you go. As I write this (Nov 2021), they are only open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 9am-5pm or as long as they still have food available but when I was there in August, they were open many more days of the week. They offer the most savory and delicious authentic Navajo dishes such as: Roast Mutton, Roast Ribs, Achii, Steam Corn Stew, Dumpling Stew, Vegetable Stew, Squash/Corn Stew, Navajo Burger, Liver Sandwich with Fat or with Achii (sheep intestines), Blue Cornmeal Mush, Blood Sausage, Pork Chop Sandwich, served with made-to-order open-fire Frybread or Tortilla, and Navajo Tea. For those who aren’t familiar with it, Ach'íí' is one of the one of those foods, like Sushi and caviar. You either love it or hate it. Ach'íí' (ach-EE) is a delicacy made from sheep gut, in which a length of the small intestine is wrapped 25 times (traditional way) around a section of colon. It's made immediately after a sheep is butchered and then roasted over an open fire until it's nice and crunchy. This restaurant is tucked away behind trees in a residential area and a little bit hard to find but worth it. They only accept cash. Don't worry, they speak English...
My wife n girls love this place. They get their "fix" of everything they want without having to butcher themselves hahaha I enjoy the frybread hahaha
