I didn’t necessarily have high expectations but I found the food to be very disappointing. I ordered the tofu vegetable, vegetable fried rice, and vegetable egg foo young. All three were bland and couldn’t be salvaged with just soy sauce.

Ordered a meal to go. They don't give you enough rice for your meal and the meal was easily 92% vegetables and 8% protein. I won't be back to waste my money on vegetables, not only was there white onions, but red onions as well.

Called in a takeout order. The lady was nice but the food was really poor. Veggies consisted of zucchini, celery and cabbage. Zucchini. In chinese food. Really? Egg rolls were greasy and even the fried rice was thrown in the garbage with kung pao and lo mein.
Just like the other patron said. Do not let the looks fool you. Great food , fresh veggies.. overall a gem in Silver City! From a friend that ate with me.

Every dish was bursting with flavor, and the ingredients were clearly high quality. The service was warm and attentive, making the overall dining experience even better. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking delicious and genuine Chinese cuisine in the area. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Overall, it’s a decent Chinese restaurant in small town New Mexico.I had the sweet-and-sour chicken with the sauce on the side. The chicken was nicely cooked, but the sauce had a taste that I could not put my finger on what it was, but it was not something to my liking, so I did not eat the sauce. I ended up taking the chicken home and buying sweet-and-sour sauce at Walmart.I also had the barbecue fried rice, and I thought that was very good.The staff and service were outstanding even though the restaurant was packed with customers.If you’re trying to decide on a good Chinese restaurant in Silver city, I think you should definitely give the Chinese Place an opportunity to show you what they can do.Enjoy!
