Overall, it’s a decent Chinese restaurant in small town New Mexico.I had the sweet-and-sour chicken with the sauce on the side. The chicken was nicely cooked, but the sauce had a taste that I could not put my finger on what it was, but it was not something to my liking, so I did not eat the sauce. I ended up taking the chicken home and buying sweet-and-sour sauce at Walmart.I also had the barbecue fried rice, and I thought that was very good.The staff and service were outstanding even though the restaurant was packed with customers.If you’re trying to decide on a good Chinese restaurant in Silver city, I think you should definitely give the Chinese Place an opportunity to show you what they can do.Enjoy!

Small Chinese restaurant in Silver. We had their reasonably priced lunch specials yesterday. The food was tasty with large portions! The cute server (she was the only one) was on the ball. Expertly handling a full house all by herself. She also doubles as the cook's helper. Recommend!

Food was incredible, once we got it an hour later. There was one server working her butt off, one busser who looked confused, and a man I think who may have been the owner making small talk with several large tables when clearly his employees needed help. ? There was a long line of take out orders waiting, some just wanting to pay, 2/3 of the tables taken mostly with drinks only on the table. I really felt for the server, to the owner, get her some help or stop taking to go orders....
Good food. They did their best with limited staff. Crowded tables, in need of repair and paint but reasonably clean. Good parking.
