Best breakfast ever!I’m so glad that it wasn’t closed. I hope it never closes. In fact my grandparents spent their honeymoon night at the Drifter hotel over 55 years ago! Love this place! Thank you for all the memories. ❤️ The Staleys
The restaurant is currently closed but the room, bed and front desk people are excellent. The price and location are very good as well. Every thing was clean and although the motel was busy it was still very quiet except for the traffic on the highway going through town.
What's to say about the pancake house where everyone in town eats? And it's across the street from Denny's. Unlike Denny's, the Drifter is not a corporate chain. The Drifter has its own decor including porcelain tile, woven wicker window screens, 270° overview of busy Silver City, or sit on the other side of the table and watch the social dynamics of half the city's police force.
