The Ice Cream Emporium

Its sad how one thing can truly take away the want to ever return to a place. We came to this ice cream place for the first time hearing wonderful things, even from out of town. But it had disturbing and inappropriate content displayed during our FIRST time visit. While the ice cream and customer service were both excellent, the environment itself was highly unsuitable for families, especially for children.

As we stood in line, the screen menus were showing extremely graphic imagery, including a woman being splattered with blood, holding a man’s head, and scenes of people’s skin being peeled off. This was not “Halloween fun” or spooky décor it was disturbing, violent, and deeply unsettling. Several families around us appeared equally uncomfortable one kid couldn't even enjoy his ice cream, and the experience completely overshadowed what should have been a joyful visit...

After calling to share my concern, I was told that management was aware that “some might find it scary.” Respectfully, this response is dismissive. What was shown was not mildly frightening,it was inappropriate and disturbing for any environment that presents itself as family-friendly and my children!

I believe this demonstrates a serious lapse in judgment. Businesses that welcome families, particularly those centered around children’s enjoyment, have a responsibility to maintain a safe and considerate atmosphere. The decision to show such imagery was not only unnecessary but also damaging to their reputation as a family establishment.

I sincerely hope this place re-evaluates the type of content displayed, especially during holidays like Halloween. There are many ways to celebrate the season without exposing children to violence or horror. Until such changes are made, I will not be returning, and I will be sharing my experience with other local families so they can make an informed decision as well.

If we do not advocate for and defend our children, their safety may never be ensured. Many people often question the prevalence of negativity in the world, and these situations serve as clear illustrations of the issue.

It was great only thing is it was hot inside big fan blowing hot air from freezers where product is kept and blowing it out into the seating area other than that it was all good

Torin was absolutely amazing did the robot cat because I was going a rough time and they put a huge smile on me and my besties faces! THANK YOU TORIN!

Such yummy ice cream and friendly staff! I got the birthday cake and Ghirardelli chocolate ice creams with caramel sauce on top and a waffle cone which was all fantastic, the dandelion and boysenberry flavors were also very yummy! I love how the spoons turn colors in the cold as well, so pretty! Thank you!

Best ice cream in the county. Their creative flavors are such a treat and I love seeing what they come up with. My favorite flavors are black sesame, mango habanero, and lavender honey. I love eating this ice cream.

Although... the interior does have a strange vibe. The decor, loud robot server, aggressive signage, and other items for sale are not at all my vibe.

I have no idea how this is not rated 5 stars. Just absolutely phenomenal ice cream in the middle of nowhere! They have such a fun vibe and a robot that brings you your ice cream which is SO FUN AND UNIQUE! The flavor is out of this world! Must have!

Not family friendly! I visited with my family to get ice cream and needed to change my two-month-old, but they lacked public restrooms, so I used the seat with a changing pad to avoid leaving him in a wet diaper, and they told us to leave. I see why we were the only people there!
