I wanted to share some feedback from our recent family visit to this establishment. ( 2 adults, 3 kids under the age of 8)
We encountered a few issues:
1. Limited Buffet Options: Only one buffet was open, restricting our choices.
2. Service: The wait staff did not check on us during our meal, which felt neglectful.
3. Pricing: The $103 bill for our family of five seemed high given the service and options. Plus, the neglectful wait staff adds their own 20% tip.
4. Cleanliness: The restaurant did not meet our expectations for cleanliness.
Based on our experience, we are unlikely to return. I hope this feedback helps improve future visits.

I read the reviews prior to visiting this restaurant so I knew what to expect, but still had to form my own opinion. The food wasn’t too bad, but definitely not the best. The buffet was very very very limited especially for dinner time when they raise the buffet prices. They had two island buffets, but only one was stocked. The other buffet island was out of service. There was no salad bar, no desserts, no sushi, no fountain drinks, no seafood of any kind, and only served bottled drinks. The only protein in the buffet was chicken. Dried up chicken on a stick, chicken with broccoli, orange chicken, chicken with onions and bell peppers, chicken with squash and carrots and at least 3 other variations of chicken in a sauce. They had noodles, white rice and plain fried rice. Only one soup (egg drop). In total there couldn’t have been no more than 14 items to choose from. I have never been to a Chinese Buffet that didn’t have Hot N Sour soup or any kind of shrimp dish. The vegetables in the chicken were very under cooked. The onions being undercooked was crunchy and over powering. The carrots being thinly sliced were very hard to bite through. The broccoli was also very crunchy. I could go on, but you get my point. Reviews matter. Small towns with buffets always disappoint. Visit knowing what to expect.

Go ahead and keep on driving this place is the worst hole in the wall you will ever find. The very limited amount and quality of food is pitiful it like being in a third world country. To then get charged 20% tip when she never did anything but get a bottle of soda. I will be notifying the health department they need to be shut down the place was so dirty and grimy stay away for your health and anyone you my love cause you might not survive it.
Service is good but food is not great

Food is gross, like it’s been siting out for hours. My bf only ate one bite and I refused to eat anything cus of how gross it looked. We left right away but the lady still charge us 35$ even tho I didn’t eat anything. I complained. And she refunded my plate only. But my bf still had to pay cus he still took one bite.

I got really sick after eating here. Not sure if the person I came in with put something in my food/drink or whether or not something was placed in the food by the owners but someone definitely did something to my food/drink deliberately while I was at this restaurant as I was severely sick for a few days
The wontons did look and chew like they were made the day before
I worked at a Chinese restaurant with all these different buffet foods
I'm well aware of what they're supposed to be like directly after cooked
There were 3 other customers & none of them returned to the buffet to get food the entire time I was there
They all left after sitting there at least half the time I was there
I only ate one plate of food bc I already knew someone was going to try to get me sick
We came in right before closing, but she sat us anyway. The food had been sitting there for a long time. You could tell because the rice was hard and the broccoli was mush. We asked for water and she brought us bottled water and charged us $4 a bottle. If anything they could’ve given us half price since they were getting ready to throw the food out. We fixed one plate each and did not finish it despite being hungry. Not the best experience after a long days drive.

The food was not bad considering it’s a Chinese buffet in socorro, but they are over priced. The staff was not the most delightful experience

Not the most charming and modern atmosphere - but let me tell you the food and value make up for that! My brother (who has lived in China for the last 30 years) stopped here with his son some months back and told me the food is surprisingly good. He was not wrong! I stopped in on my way to a conference in Tucson and was really surprised at how GOOD the food and variety of food were! All you can eat buffet for $13 and this is some of the best Chinese food I've had in the state of New Mexico (and I've been to a lot). If you're in town and want to fill-up for cheap and fast, this is the place to go!

If you're up here for multiple days for Fire Training or training at NMT, keep going. Food was alright, very limited options. Sketchy ice cream situation, just two open wal mart containers with a spoon in a stagnant water cup.

I would definitely avoid this place. I have to admit, eating here is kind of a guilty pleasure of mine but I’ve stopped. The last time I went a friend of mine found metal wire in his chicken… On top of all this the lady up front is almost always going to try to scam you and up-charge you in your meal. I don’t understand how they’re still in business if I’m being honest.

Worst place I’ve ever eaten before, the food was disgusting, cold, and the restaurant was dirty, no restroom for the ladies, they told us to go into the men restroom and my daughter walked into a male worker using the restroom, overall a horrible customer service.
