I chose this resteraunt because it had the best rating in town, which I guess is a commentary on the sad state of dining in Small Town, New Mexico.The best I can describe the food is NASTY. Perhaps I shouldn't have ordered Fish and Chips, but I wasn't in the mood for a steak. Everything fried on the plate (fish, hush puppies & fries) was overcooked and terribly salty. I said I didn't want the Cole Slaw, but they served it anyway, and it was equally poor. They didn't have Malt Vinegar (if I had thought to ask beforehand I would have ordered something else). The house salad was some kind of mixed greens that I didn't recognize. I asked for some chopped onion to add a little flavor...note to chef, it is customary to peel the onion before you chop and serve.Do yourself a favor and hit McDonald's, at least you won't have any expectations!

A hidden jewel in the desert, reliably excellent food and a friendly staff. Stop by for Friday or Saturday night dinner and try the smoked prime rib for a real treat. Reservations recommended!

We came down from Belen. Our first experience was great. Good food, good service. We came back down on a Tuesday, it was our anniversary. There was a large group so we didn’t mind waiting. We waited in the bar, bartender was great. We were finally seated in the front dining room and watched at least 3 waitresses come through the area frequently. We were never even acknowledged. We sat there for over 20 minutes and not one person helped us. We finally stood up to leave and got a little smirk from a waitress on our way out. Sad to say we won’t travel to eat there again.

Took an hour for our bad server to put our order in and it took another 30 mins for it to come out and half of the orders were wrong and then we luckily got a good serve who did an amazing job then the bad server tried to take the good servers tipsBut luckily we talked to the boss and the good server got them

It is a very quiet atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Service is okay, though you may have to flag down a staff member for refills. The was great. Cooked near perfectly and the sides were great. A very clean environment that I would highly recommend to any traveler on I25.

We came to Jackson Ranch from Albuquerque and were not disappointed! Our server Mariah was phenomenal! The food was superb! We had the steak brisket sandwich! We had both our Service Dogs with us and were treated very kindly! This is a Veteran friendly establishment and we will definitely return!
