The first time I went here, it was a few days after they opened. The drive through was not working and after waiting for 15 minutes we gave up and went inside.Ordered to go, and had chips and salsa while we waited. The chips are really greasy and unsalted. My girlfriend got a supreme quesadilla with chicken. When we opened it, it was two whole uncut chicken breasts with some sauce in a little bit of cheese within the tortilla. It was both wrong and really weird. We both got really sick after eating. Now, today, over a month later, we went through the drive through again.Again, we waited several minutes before giving up and going inside.Again, oily unsalted chips. We ordered two things, a #7 combo and a victors special burrito, without bacon. The combo was right, but the burrito had bacon.Even better, it was chopped up inside, so I couldn't easily remove it when I got home.I will say that the inside of the building was significantly cleaner today than a month ago.The quantity of food you receive for your money is decent, but the experience isn't worth it.

A place that is open for 24 hours! This is something that was needed in Socorro. We've eaten here four times since it opened, which is more often than we normally visit a restaurant, and have tried various items on the menu. The service is friendly and fast. There is a chip and salsa bar inside. For those trying to pick something, here's our experience (and now that I've written all this down, I'm surprised by how much we've had...)Shrimp tacos: Fantastic. The shrimp is perfectly cooked. There are grilled vegetables and a nice sauce. These are "mini tacos" but surprisingly fillingShrimp burrito: Also fantastic. Quite large.Carne asada fries: Great and a lot of food. Nice sauce and carne asada is good. This is kind of a "fun" dish and definitely sharable.Regular fries: They're thin cut and crispy.Al pastor taco: Amazing. Super flavorful.Carnitas taco: Still good but we liked the al pastor more.Chile relleno enchilada: Good relleno, good sauce. This was the first time I've encountered a chile relleno enchilada and it's a good idea.Fish taco: Large piece of crispy fried fish with a nice sauce.Fish torta: Not as good as the taco. On the greasy side when we had it.Bean and cheese burrito: This wasn't our favorite dish. It just tasted like a hunk of canned refried beans and the cheese wasn't fully melted. There are other vegetarian dishes to get instead.Aguas frescas: Sandia is amazing, tastes like blended up watermelon; horchata is great, jamaica was also good, not too sour.Rice pudding: Pretty good, not too sweet, a little watery.

Very very good. But it was 21 dollars for a combination plate and horchata just for me. A little too pricy!!

Loved this place for dinner! Very good aguas frescas, they gave me a large quantity for a fair price. Also had a free salsa bar included with the food. The bar was clean and had a good selection of salsas. Tasty food and nice people at the counter.

Place is really good, I think the low reviews are just people who like to gripe. The wait is longer than McDonald’s because they’re actually making the food, and it’s really good! Great chips and salsa bar and our enchiladas were awesome. Hope this place does well.

Delicious food, large amounts, they don't skimp on the meat! So far I've tried and loved: California burrito, chili rellieno plate, beef burrito, and menudo. I also loved the chorizo burrito but it was extremely messy.

Los Victor's is not New Mexican food, nor does it claim to be. If you want that, try the other half-dozen New Mexican restaurants in town. If you want something different, high quality, and delicious...look no further. A welcome 24-HOUR (<---IMPORTANT PART!!) food establishment in Socorro. Haters go home.

$11 for tacos w/ this much meat in it? Now I understand how it's 'cali-style'. It's good tasting, but main course ended up being a side.

The food is good, and the wait time is understandable for a new restaurant in a small town with limited options.

I really don't get the negative reviews. I've been here 3 times and it's been delicious each time. I never waited more than 5-7 minutes for my order, and considering the cost is less than you'd pay for a fast food meal but you get really solid Cali-mex... Give it a try, see for yourself!
