A great find in Socorro! The grill is located on the University golf course and has a lovely patio with a view of the course end of the mountains Food is excellent and the staff is friendly laid-back and nice A perfect place to enjoy a summer afternoon. Highly recommended.

M Mountain Grill Night Out dinners are great. I like how it's always something new and different, and the chef isn't afraid to try new things like cheeseburger empanadas. I can admit I was skeptical, but they were great. Chef has a great imagination and the skills to back it up and pull it off well. He is just a great guy, too. He comes out and has a quick chat with patrons, getting feedback on his work. All of the waitstaff is super friendly as well. This is definitely one of the best in Socorro. A local place that allows you to expand your cullinary horizons. AAA+++ would definitely recommend.

Today all 5 ordered and did not eat the chicken on the grilled chicken salad. Was horrible. Called the manager over and got a lot of excuses.. ..."next time Ill do something for you" . There will be NO second time. You should have made it right then.
Really sad to write this as want to like and eat here. Wait staff GREAT.

I had breakfast quesadilla that loaded and excellent. My husband had the 49er breakfast. You can't beat the food and the price.
Would NOT recommend this place at all. We went on Mother’s Day for a nice lunch. Ordered and got seated fast, and then waited over an hour for the food. My husband got their Specialty Taco Salad that was being advertised on their TV. It was $12, and it was hardly a salad. It was more like an appetizer salad. I got their Specialty Taco Turkey Tech sandwich and was also not impressed. The fries tasted like day old fries that were microwaved. The sandwich wasn’t even that good, and was pretty small. We left hungry and feeling like we wasted money and time. The staff was pretty rude and never gave us an update on how long it would be until we got our order. They seem severely understaffed and not properly trained. Will never be coming back.

I came here for lunch during a class at NMT. I was searching for a green chili cheeseburger.
I had the GCC with tots for lunch, and a cold glass of pink lemonade. Great meal!
I sat on the patio in the shade and listened to the bustling golf course around the clubhouse.
I will definitely eat here again this week. I recommend this diner.

Im not sure if I've done something to anger the chef but I feel like he hates me. I had gotten the 3 piece chicken tenders and was given 2 tenders with undercooked fries. I figured it was no big deal mistakes happen. Recently I spent $13.75 on the 3 piece fish and chips. They gave me 2 pieces of overcooked fish (which I assume they had leftover from a previous order then quickly reheated in the oil) and no fries. The staff is nice so it's a shame they seem to put so little effort into the food.

A mountain girl is such an incredible place, it is up on the hill, which is such an oasis and the food is so underrated. It catches you by surprise because the quality and innovativeness is incredible. The atmosphere is awesome and the service is top-notch! 10 out of 10 would recommend for not only the amazing food service in atmosphere, but also the price everything is incredible!

Located on the golf course of NM tech ⛳️-friendly staff and a yummy green chili cheeseburger with well seasoned fries! The bun disintegrated in my hands midway through eating but it was probably because this was a generously tall burger that I had trouble taking bites out of. Would come here for a quick bite if you’re visiting NM tech’s campus!
