Stopped by on our way back to Albuquerque after visiting Bosque del Apache and will not go there again. Burger was dry and tasted just okay. The frozen fries they use are pretty good. Seems like a place run by someone without a lot of experience in the restaurant industry. Building is strange and it’s hard to tell what it was originally. It was uncomfortably cold inside the first week in December and we had to wear our coats.
If you just want booze, go to the Capitol Bar. If you want a meal and booze with a small group of friends, then come here. Not a bad place at all. Decent food, and a lot of draft options, but nothing too amazing either.
Everything the expanded 5 stars says: the food was fantastic, great atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. A pizza was *just* enough to be full but not bloated for a late lunch, before we got back in the road. Stop by if you're traveling through, you won't regret it.
