Taqueria Mi Jacalito

Fantastic food, friendly service, quick and affordable. Got the 5 taco plate but sadly they were out of barbacoa so I doubled up on Al Pastor. 4 instead of 5 stars because they gave me double carne asada instead of 1 carne and 1 chicken, but they were still really good 👍🏼

This place is a hidden gem. Amazing tacos! Ordered the al pastor with a horchata. The tacos come 5 to an order and served with a slice of lime and a grilled Jalapeño. A side of rice was a nice bonus touch as well.
These tacos were absolutely amazing. Really flavorful meat and plenty of it. Diced onion and cilantro added, and some diced up pineapple finishes the toppomgs.. healthy portion for $10! Rice was also cooked nicely. The horchata was just the icing on the cake. Milky rice with a hint of cinnamon and vanilla. Perfect!
For a small food trailer there is plenty of parking and plenty of seating. Most covered and a few tables not covered. Place was packed for a Wednesday and our food still came out in a reasonable amount of time!
I was able to park my truck and trailer along the curb.
They accept cards which was nice as alot of the hole in the walls only accept cash.
This will be one of those places that I will leave Albuquerque and drive the hour just to eat here!

Is this place ever going to open again, stopped by a couple of times and they are closed, they say they are open Monday through Friday 11 to 5 but they are closed, I just checked at 11:30 and they are closed.

This Taqueria has the BEST TACOS I have ever had. I have been coming to this taco truck for a little more than a year now, and I will continue to keep coming back as long as I can! I am not even kidding when I say that this is one of the best things about Socorro.
I started coming here every Tuesday about a year ago, and now it has become a weekly tradition with my friends! Their prices are great, and the family that runs it are awesome people! 10/10 would recommend!

Mi Jacalito is the best food in Socorro. A group of friends and I come here weekly for tacos, and we’re never disappointed! The green chile is also the best in town. Definitely recommend if you’re in town for a day or a lifetime.
