This remote eatery was worth the drive! We read the reviews & decided to check it out. Boy, were we surprised! Rustic & comfortable, the setting is cool! It supports an RV Park. We had the special Grilled Cheese Smash Burger...delicious! We also shared the Enchilada Burger...green Chile & beef was superb! Not a lot of choices in Chama, so drive a little for a good meal!

Prices are extremely high for the portions. They have a full grown dog walking around the restaurant, it's definitely NOT a service dog. Very unsanitary to have a dog walking the dining room. Will not be going back

Cute little diner in the mountains. They serve just about something for everyone. Very friendly folks, you almost feel like your at a family gathering when you walk in. And the sweet tea they make, is so good. If you are looking for a home feel, with great views, The Dam Diner is your place.
