Amazing food, huge portions for the value. I was so pleasantly surprised to find this place. I appreciated the owners providing suggestions since we didn’t know what to get - but it was all good. I highly recommend- you won’t be disappointed.

A pleasant find in Amherst of all places. Generous portions of good food, very nice music, and a very kind patron who played with our cranky baby. Hope it stays and keeps getting better!

Vegetarian options: Tasty falafels, salads and more.

Parking: You can park in back or across the street at town hall.

Kid-friendliness: Toys for infants and a friendly owner who likes kids.

Visiting from out of province and stopped here for supper. The portion sizes are absolutely huge! Great value for your money. The owners were so friendly and delightful when we came in. We ordered the chicken biryani. Shawarma and fatoush salad. Would definitely recommend if you are passing through Amherst to eat here

Food was dry, dry, dry. Flavors were just okay if you could choke it down. Hummus had good texture but lacked salt and lemon. Only had baklava for dessert and it was like mush - no nut filling just wet gummy phyllo dough. Ordering was very confusing - we tried to order just three manouche, ended up with 9 or 10 and they were dry like bricks. Disappointing because all the reviews were raving about the great food here.

The photos and ratings don't do the food justice. It's exceptional. As good as the best food I had in Syria. Nice atmosphere, friendly service.

We messaged with a few questions about the menu. They were super quick to respond, which was really helpful. We ordered multiple dishes as it was our first time and we wanted to try it all! We were not disappointed. We received enough food to feed a small army, so we've got leftovers for days. The food is absolutely delicious! Even our super picky toddler was enthusiastic about it! 10/10 recommend.

Wow, amazing food! The biryani was so flavorful, as was everything else. We stopped on our way from NB to NS, and will now make this our go-to for future trips!
