What a gem of a place. The food is incredibly good. We had za'atar bread, chicken shawarma, Turkish coffee, and a dessert, all were delicious, with very generous portions. Note that the printed menu is confusing - go to the counter and read the detailed menu, where prices are detailed for 3 different sizes of meals.Great service, amazing food, beautiful live plants throughout the room, large clean accessible bathrooms. 5 stars all around. I'm planning to come by every time we drive from NB to NS! (We had the shawarma with fries, and the fries were a bit of a weak link; will go for rice next time)

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Al Chehade this evening... everything was made fresh and it was all delicious. Amazing flavors, huge portions, warm and friendly service and a really great variety of items to choose from. We had a side dish, 2 mains and 2 desserts and it was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Al Chehade for an awesome dining experience.

My family and I were coming back from a trip by car. My daughter was hungry so we decided to stop at this restaurant. My kids felt like it was their grandmothers food and it brung so many memories back. Lovely food in general and it felt like home.
