With the food it would seem they are trying too hard. Simple is better. Had a mushroom soup. Had to Had every vegetable in the kitchen in it. Was more of a stew then soup. I have never had a tasteless grilled cheese until today. Not sure how you have zero flavor in a grilled cheese but this place did it. The bench seats make it difficult to get in and out.
Id avoid at all cost.

THE place in Amherst for lunch. Good coffee, great portions. Always have amazing daily specials. Definitely worth pulling off the highway for if you’re just passing through!

Vegetarian options: The soup of the day was a Cajun black bean chilli. So good!

Such a cute deli! I was really impressed by the vegan options. I had the buffalo chickpea wrap and it was honestly one of the best wraps I've ever had!

I love eating here when I come to Amherst! Their staff is very friendly & courteous, the food is soooo delicious. My only complaint is that they used to serve more vegan pastries/sweets like cake, brownies, cookies, etc, but they don't seem to anymore. That was probably my favorite part about coming here. I hope they bring them back! I'll still continue to enjoy it here when I come to town ❤️ Thank you for the great food!

One of my favourite places, I love their food, atmosphere, sweets and the staff are all very nice people!

What a wonderful gem! Great food and great service! The steak breakfast sandwich was definitely made with love. So filling and delicious! And their selection of flavour shots for lattes was awesome!

Cheese cake was amazing. Staff were very friendly. Vegetarian options were great, love the pickles that come with the meals! Great place to eat!!!

I was recommended to stop in and try their Montreal Smoked Sandwich. The steam as you can see was still coming off the plate when it was served. Very flavourful and the soft bread made this very enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, making for a comfortable atmosphere. Seeing a collection of board games available also brought a smile to my face. I will be looking forward to coming back and trying their treats.

Amazing food! Was really pleased with the customer service. The staff were kind to let us stay after they closed so we could finish up our school work. Highly recommend the chocolate mousse.
