Came to Duncan’s pub with a group of 10. We quickly realized we were after a group of 30. We really wanted to try their food so we decided to wait. It was a very comfortable and intimate. We were seated by the bar and didn’t feel like there was a lot of traffic by us. It was a girls night and we may have been a bit louder so we really appreciated the corner to ourselves. Our wait was very reasonable considering the group in front of us. We got our food within 45 min to an hour. What is the most impressive though, everything was delicious, hot, and came exactly as ordered. I got the chicken avocado wrap and rice. I panic ordered hahaha because I wanted the soup with it and just said rice instead. It was good but if I make it there again, I’m going to order the soup. The wrap was delicious. Everything was fresh and the wrap was crisp and easy to eat. I didn’t leave a mess.
The best Chowder and Fish & Chips of our trip!! This quaint little pub was a favourite stop on our way through to Halifax!! Make sure you stop in on your travels too!!

We recently had a delicious meal and received excellent service at Duncan’s Pub. On a dark and rainy Tuesday evening, we were warmly welcomed into this very busy restaurant even though we didn’t have a reservation. A table was found and menus and drinks quickly followed. Our meals were absolutely delicious and though the house was packed, the high level of service was consistent throughout the evening. Be sure to order one of their delicious dinners - try the scallop dinner, jambalaya or ask your server for a recommendation. Save room for one of their amazing house made desserts and if chocolate cake is on the menu, be sure to order it!!! Thank you Darlene for your excellent customer care - you are a highlight of our trip to the Maritimes - we will always remember our fun evening at Duncan’s Pub!

We’re from Vancouver BC and stopped here because the power was out at our hotel in Sackville. Wow what a great find! The hostess was great and the food was excellent! We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment. Save room for the house made chocolate cake. Amazing.
