It was the first time into the Elm Tree while I was back in my hometown. I simply wanted to check it out so had a glass of wine. Staff and patrons were all engaging. My next trip, I will definitely go back and try out the food.
The Elm Tree in Amherst has a great ambiance, perfect for a casual night out. The atmosphere is lively, especially when the live band is playing—it really adds to the overall vibe of the place.
The food is generally good, and they have a popular wing night on Wednesdays and Thursdays that’s definitely worth checking out. However, we ordered the quesadilla during our visit and found it underwhelming for the price. It didn’t quite live up to expectations...

The new management has drastically increased all aspects of this place. Years ago it wasn't a nice spot to go, but now this place is great.
The food and drinks are very reasonably priced with a massive improvement in quality. A huge surprise was the burger I ordered. Locally sourced meat that's NOT a pre made patty. It's a homemade burger that's second to none. Very nicely done and tastes like a burger should with homemade fries. So refreshing to see...
