I had the Backyard burger. This was my first time at the Amherst Frank & Gino's. The burger was a perfectly flame broiled thick and juicy Angus patty topped with a bountiful amount of fresh cheddar leading to mouth watering sensations galore. The pickle topped was thinly sliced and presented professionally which isn't something usually given much thought with a burger. The onions and tomato and bun were fresh and crisp. Five star burger, five star service. The server had a great personality, was professional and had a delightful demeanor, though she were overflowing with real world charisma. Total sweetheart. 4 star atmosphere which is exactly what you'd want in a cozy roadside eatery. The patio is excellent on a beautiful day if you don't mind offing a wasp or two while you eat. ? Recommended.

Parking: Lots of parking, including ♿ accessible parking and seating throughout.

Wheelchair accessibility: They are wheelchair accessible with a ramp to the patio and electric operating doors.

Food was PHENOMENAL. On a business trip from Western US. Probably waited an hr for our food, poor lady seemed to be the waiter for the whole restaurant but was the best server we've had our trip here to Canada. Thanks!

Greek salad terrible, the salad itself was old and not just a day old it was probably sitting in the sun for a week, chicken wings are somewhat doable not the greatest, the onion rings where great, And the burger was as dry as a desert even adding more sauces did not save it. All in all not the greatest and not very italian. (Review made by an Italian from Montreal) this location in amherst has been scratched off our list. The waitress was great person she did her very best however will not recommend this resto to anyone

We were seated, but the servers kept talking by us, going to other parts of the restaurant. We didn't get served until I chased a server down.

The food was tasty.

Spent 117.00 on an order with door dash delivery. Called restaurant to make sure condiments and ketchup was going to be in order as we are at a hotel. She assured me, order was delivered with nothing. Called 6 times before they answered and one gorl said she didn’t bag it and passed it off to another and when I was explaining I was cut off and said tell me where your at and I’ll have it delivered. She said it would be right away. I mentioned if it is long then the food will be cold. 40 minutes after I Eder was delivered I finally got the order and I guess it was a joke to throw on 8 sets of condiments when we only needed 3. We threw the fries and some of the onion rings in garbage as I didn’t trust the ketchup in the plastic container was safe. Don’t recommend them.

Delicious, quality Italian food. With in-house sauces for their pastas and lasagnas, plus the side salad and mini baguette you get with them, Frank & Gino's is a must-stop if you're looking for a meal in the Amherst area!
Their patio is lovely and when it got a bit to cold/breezy, our waitress was happy to relocate us inside to one of their comfy booths. Great portions for the price too -- definitely check it out!

Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free pizza was enjoyed by my coworker. Dairy free options were available for my other coworker!

Service was good and food was hot but my lasagna had not cottage cheese in it and was really tasted like spaghetti with cheese on top. Hubby's philly sandwich was almost burnt.
