Great spot to grab your breakfast. Decided to pull off the highway for breakfast on the way to Quebec and didn't want bog-standard, American-owned fast food, so we looked up local joints, and Johny's was the one we just happened to pick. So we pulled a little further off the highway, and it was well worth it. Johny was super friendly and chatted us up while he prepped our order; it was the kind of genuine interaction you only get with people who really enjoy what they're doing - even when they're frying eggs and slinging coffee. He was laid back and welcoming - as if we'd showed up at a buddy's place for brunch. And the breakfast was exactly what we needed! A good bacon-and-egg breakfast sandwich goes a long way: everything was fresh, cooked just right, and perfectly hit the spot. Sometimes, the best things are just that simple: a friendly guy making our morning as he made our breakfast before we got back on the road. Hit Johny up if you're hungry! We'll definitely be coming back next time we're passing through.

Had lunch with a large group which they really aren't st up for but it was wonderful. The waitress was great. I had the beef barley soup and it was superb, I ate every morsel. Thanks for a great time

I was hoping for a good latte but instead I received a coffee with some foam on top. You got to do better than that. Other than the bad coffee, they have a good food selection.

Just discovered Johny’s Java today! We got cinnamon buns and three different kinds of scones — all fresh and delicious.
Best coffee in town! Great service! *****
One of the best lattes I’ve ever had.
Very affordable and delicious chocolate chip cookies:) And the barista that made my coffee was a delight.
Such a nice spot to stop for lunch, a treat or ask about their catering! Stopped in for my first visit and the food was amazing. Very comfortable, accessible location, bright and welcoming. Staff were incredibly friendly and the food was great! Scone and a Ruben wrap. Great lunch! I’d post a photo but I ate it before I could take a picture.

Fresh and warm baked goods and very friendly staff always. Can’t beat a coffee & scone for $5 in this day and age.

We had Johny’s Java cater for our wedding on sept 7 and what a wonderful experience. The food was amazing. Everyone talked about how good the burgers were. Everything was cooked perfect. It was a worry free day for me when it came to the food. And very good prices. 💯 recommend

What a treat it was to find this place! A local (thanks, Glorya!) recommended it to us while we were visiting Amherst. The lattes were the best, and the date squares were delicious. We're looking forward to returning again soon! We highly recommended Johny's Java!
