I ordered food through uber eats for pulled chicken mashed potatoes and coleslaw and Pepsi and got pulled pork and poutine. I called restaurants and told them and spoke to the owner and instead of admitting his mistake he said he sees a different order on his screen. I asked him to send me his number and I will send him a screen shot of my order and he gave me number. After sending my screen shot and waiting a while I called them back and they said they are busy and will take look at later. I said no and look at it now and asked to speak to owner again. This time he said he can’t do anything. I said I don’t eat pork a literally 1 minute from the restaurant so prepare my order and send it to me and take this order back. He handed the phone to his employee and she said she can’t as they don’t have chicken and hung up on me. Really ??? I ended up eating just fries for dinner …. Tasted so bad and threw them in garbage. Bad food and bad service

There’s only a handful of spots that are probably worth visiting in Amherst and this is one of them.
The bbq was really good. We got the ultimate platter and some extras on the side. The ribs were tasty, juicy and tender and the chicken wings we added on was actually really good too. Pulled pork was tasty but didn’t stand out in my mind.
The sauces were really unique. The blueberry apple one was slightly sweet and gave that extra level of sweetness to the bbq’d food. But the sauce to try is the root beer one. I love root beer already and I enjoyed this sauce the most
Service was great. Super friendly and food came very quick. Came in as two families and we both got our entire orders within 15mins of each other. This was 2 families totaling 8 people.
Parking was very easy as it isn’t a super busy town but a nice place to stopover for a quick bite or on your way to somewhere else.
Just to note, in Amherst majority of places close really early, other than the Walmarts and fast food places, so be weary when planning on where to eat.

I was brought here by a friend who insisted it was a great place. She had a brisket burger that she loved. I had a pulled pork poutine that was extremely disappointing! There was no gravy, just au jus in a cup I could pour myself. There were no more than 12 small cheese curds! And while there was plenty of pulled pork meat, it was utterly flavorless. I don't eat poutine very often, but when I order one, I expect a certain level of skill to go into it. I can honestly say this was the worst one I've ever had, I couldn't eat even a quarter of it. The staff seemed nice and the place was clean with picnic tables inside giving it a definite BBQ vibe. I don't know if I'll return as I found that order to be really off-putting.

Unfortunately, it seems things have changed here recently. I heard the restaurant exchanged hands and perhaps that's the reason for the slight decline I've noticed. Prices have increased (at least the lunch special), food has gotten drier, and the front of house are cold and not very welcoming.
I've always gotten the brisket sandwich with fries, but its been dry and you can tell not as much care is put into it as there used to be, and less fries than before.
It's unfortunate because this was my go-to lunch spot but I don't feel it's worth it anymore in it's current state. I'll still give it a chance going forward in hopes that it's improved because this town needs reliable spots that aren't just fast food.

This was once a great spot about 6 months ago. Not sure what changed but it has gone down hill fast in the last 6 months. Food is always dry, they guy who takes the orders should not be working in the front. Last 3 times I went in he's been rude, I always hoped things would change and the food/service would get better but it has not. Sorry but this is just the truth, and if it hurts ya to bad. I would not suggest this spot anymore and I will not return.

I was initially very excited to try this place as ribs are one of my favorite foods but I was left disappointed the prices are overpriced forbwjat ypu get. the food you get was very disappointing the ribs were very thin litte to no meat on it more bone snd far than meat and they also left the membrane on the ribs which causes it to be very chewy also very dry ribs my husband got a chicken burger that had absolutely no sauce on it the only good part of the meal where the fries even the cornbread was a disappointment I had High Hopes as we walked in it smelled very delicious also we visited on a weekday and still waited about 15 minutes until somebody came and talked to us to take our order
