I had the Pulled Pork Poutine which is awesome. The meat was beautifully cooked, tender and flavorful, great fries and a wonderful gravy served separately. Well worth the cheat meal!

I placed my order online and when I checked my credit card it was more than I thought it should be. After 17 minutes of sitting outside in the parking lot of what appeared to be a very slow evening I decided I would go in to see if it was ready. I was informed they are just starting it now?? Well that’s pretty bad service I think we would all agree. After finally receiving my meal I request my recite so I could try and figure out why the totally seemed high. I was told that the extra fees are from door dash. I ordered from your website and picked my order up I stated to the counter person. He said ya that’s door dash though. So I then asked if I would have called my order would have been 15 bucks cheaper ? He basically didn’t give me an answer to my question. So that was 2 times now I felt like this place is an establishment I’ll never be returning to after my first trip. Before I left I thought I should probably confirm my order is correct so I asked the counter person to double check it for me. He did and said yes all is right. Guess what lol. It wasn’t ! My sauces where in correct. I had ordered several flavours and received 3 of the same kind. As for the meal it was pretty much the frozen food section from Costco. “brined and locally grown potatoes” pfff ya ok boys is that what you copied from the bag of frozen ones?? Over all it was a complete waste of time and money. Do you self a favour and keep going to Macdonald’s you will be much more satisfied!

I ordered food through uber eats for pulled chicken mashed potatoes and coleslaw and Pepsi and got pulled pork and poutine. I called restaurants and told them and spoke to the owner and instead of admitting his mistake he said he sees a different order on his screen. I asked him to send me his number and I will send him a screen shot of my order and he gave me number. After sending my screen shot and waiting a while I called them back and they said they are busy and will take look at later. I said no and look at it now and asked to speak to owner again. This time he said he can’t do anything. I said I don’t eat pork a literally 1 minute from the restaurant so prepare my order and send it to me and take this order back. He handed the phone to his employee and she said she can’t as they don’t have chicken and hung up on me. Really ??? I ended up eating just fries for dinner …. Tasted so bad and threw them in garbage. Bad food and bad service

There’s only a handful of spots that are probably worth visiting in Amherst and this is one of them.
The bbq was really good. We got the ultimate platter and some extras on the side. The ribs were tasty, juicy and tender and the chicken wings we added on was actually really good too. Pulled pork was tasty but didn’t stand out in my mind.
The sauces were really unique. The blueberry apple one was slightly sweet and gave that extra level of sweetness to the bbq’d food. But the sauce to try is the root beer one. I love root beer already and I enjoyed this sauce the most
Service was great. Super friendly and food came very quick. Came in as two families and we both got our entire orders within 15mins of each other. This was 2 families totaling 8 people.
Parking was very easy as it isn’t a super busy town but a nice place to stopover for a quick bite or on your way to somewhere else.
Just to note, in Amherst majority of places close really early, other than the Walmarts and fast food places, so be weary when planning on where to eat.

I was brought here by a friend who insisted it was a great place. She had a brisket burger that she loved. I had a pulled pork poutine that was extremely disappointing! There was no gravy, just au jus in a cup I could pour myself. There were no more than 12 small cheese curds! And while there was plenty of pulled pork meat, it was utterly flavorless. I don't eat poutine very often, but when I order one, I expect a certain level of skill to go into it. I can honestly say this was the worst one I've ever had, I couldn't eat even a quarter of it. The staff seemed nice and the place was clean with picnic tables inside giving it a definite BBQ vibe. I don't know if I'll return as I found that order to be really off-putting.
