I would recommend going early in the day because when we arrived they had sold out of a few things. Not a complaint... it speaks to how popular it is! We just missed out :p Great music and service too

We visited this place 2 years ago and the food was really good. Being from HFX we don't have the chance to go here often. Yesterday on route back from NB we decided we should definitely stop for some food. We got the fried chicken sandwich , brisket burger , fries , mac and cheese . The food was decent, unfortunately the kitchen and behind the main counter was a complete turn off. The floors were disgusting. Old food on the floor and under the equipment used to cook . Under the sink behind the main counter we're old wet boxes of who knows what. Equipment that looks as though it hadn't been cleaned in ages. If the food and safety board was in there they would be in a bigger mess than the kitchen is. Hoping this reveiw gets noticed and they do a deep clean . It was hard to enjoy the food seeing where it was coming from.

Absolutely delicious and good quality and quantity. In my whole life I never had such a yummy and crunchy fries. Chicken and ribs were tender and juicy. I really recommend this place for anybody comes to Amherst.

We ordered four meals and they were all excellent.
That was, One of the best meals I've had at a restaurant in a very long time, everything was amazing. And the price was reasonable! I had a smoked burger and a poutine, my husband had a brisket sandwich, coleslaw and baked beans. Everything was cooked to perfection. Highly Highly recommend this place.

My partner and I drove up to Amherst on Saturday just to try this spot, he has tried it i have not . Took a two hour drive up to visit ... WELL WORTH IT! We came up from Halifax because there is not much around here for bbq and my partner always raved , he got the burger and i got the pulled pork, amazing . Will be making the drive again one day to try more again!
