Fantastic bakery/boulangerie. Excellent croissants (for Canada), thick, rich cheesecake, delicious viennoise pastries and coffee. Cheerful device. Eat-in counter, but doesn’t really support the ‘café’ concept. Could use more outdoor seating, maybe a picnic table in the shade.

Best coffee ☕️ and bread 🥖 in the area! Always worth a visit!!!

Always great except today everything was terrible! Doughy croissants, salty bread, low stock on popular items. I am actually shocked as the place is always superb. New Baker there perhaps? Manager on vacation? Get it together!!

The nut and seed cookies are by far the best I’ve ever had.

Stopped here on a road trip and it did not disappoint. We tried a quiche, delicious! Picked up an apricot sour dough and some goat cheese spread to go. Also tried one of those huge oatcake things in the third pic. Not like a typical Nova Scotia oatcake, but also very good. We loved everything. Will definitely take another weekend trip to Mahone Bay area to pay a visit. There was an antique market near by and what looked like some farm stands.

Kid-friendliness: Pastires, cookies and drinks that kids would like. There are also take and bake pizzas and garlic fingers.

Stop! If you are in the area do not miss this place if you like French pastries. It is easy to miss just off the highway but the bakery products are fantastic. We actually came on our way back to Halifax as the waitress, Rachel from Juniper restaurant in Chéticamp, told us about it. I had the best cinnamon roll I have had in my life with a flaky pastry and just the right combination of sugar and cinnamon. My wife had a delightful quiche and the coffee was good as well. It is take out only, although there are a couple of chairs and tables outside by the front. Seriously if you are anywhere near here and like bakery products this is a must stop!

Well worth stopping for bread or sweets. I can vouch for the tarts, the cookies, croissants and the cinnamon buns. You'll pay more than a grocery store, but you'll get much higher quality & tastier products in return, so in terms of value, it's right up there.
