I am from Atlanta GA and had the pleasure of discovering these Cinnamon swirls at Petite Riviere General Store while camping at Rissers Beach Campground on vacation...I purchased 2 swirls and they were the best I have ever eaten...Since the General Store only gets a shipment on Fridays, I was not able to purchase anymore...So on our way to visiting Halifax for the day, we made a detour off of Hwy 103 to Blockhouse and stopped at Boulangerie La Vendeenne...where I forced myself...

Finally! Money well spent for food and coffee in Nova Scotia. Worth the money for the quality. I actually thought the prices would have been higher. I wish they had more selection of a deli counter so I could have made my own sandwich with an entire loaf of bread. Oh a cheese selection with mini mustards and mayo would be appreciated too lol.

Fantastic bakery/boulangerie. Excellent croissants (for Canada), thick, rich cheesecake, delicious viennoise pastries and coffee. Cheerful device. Eat-in counter, but doesn’t really support the ‘café’ concept. Could use more outdoor seating, maybe a picnic table in the shade.
