The old lady server with the tattoo on her wrist was so rude. We came in with a coupon and she announces to the whole restaurant that we have a coupon.... then she was ease dropping on our conversion and butting in when we were taking to ourselves not loudly... The place seemed dirty and out of date.
The food was overly good though, I will give it that.
Update: It wasnt busy. Maybe 3 other tables were full. I order a donair burger and yes the server last month literally yelled out loud to get the owners attention about the copuon. Was kinda embarrassing

4.5 / 5 ⭐️. My husband and I went to Jac’s for the first time yesterday evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal: homemade burgers (slightly adjusted to our preferences); fab house-made fries; and really yummy shakes. I had the seasonal eggnog shake, which was delicious. The ambience was ‘50s/‘60s retro fun and the staff friendly. We will definitely return and will also try a breakfast there.

We went in and ordered a Jac's burger (no mustard with fried onions) and a B.L.T.C. w/ fries and coleslaw. Everything was fine. Up until we drove 40 min getting home, open our food and the burger had purple onions (not fried) and mustard 😑 also I got a clubhouse sandwich(not a B.L.T.) the words don't even sound the same! We got in touch with the lady working this afternoon and explained the situation. She told us, "She wasn't there, bring the food and get a refund." He took the food down, and she refused to refund the clubhouse because of it being written down as "clubhouse" (therefore, in their opinion, that is what was ordered! Even after already explaining this to her on the phone! She was rude the whole time as if WE were wrong and trying to get free food! Why would anyone return all of their food in order to receive free food later on! Make it make sense! On top of this, the cook chest bumped him after the transaction in whatever argument they were putting out to make it as if we were in the wrong. They threatened to call police. However, he called already, and police came and sided with the restaurant even though he was assaulted during this transaction. The police kicked him off property and was ppa'd as well as being threatened to be towed and put in jail. On top of them coming and parking by him and making him move numerous times, trying to text his patience so they could have something exciting in their boring careers to laugh over doughnuts 🍩 and coffee! Needless to say, this tops ALL bad experiences as a customer I (he) have ever endured, and we have had our share! Considering it is extremely hard to find regular good customer service, much less exceptional customer service! This was our first and ONLY/LAST experience with Jac's burgers and shakes! Which is sad because we like to explore and try new places all of the time! Not only will we never recommend this place, but we would never want to go back to it! They certainly will not be getting business from us!
Very cute retro style restaurant. Staff was very friendly and speedy. Food came out fast and was all very good. Had burgers and fries with milk shakes, also deep fried pickles. Very good portions and fair prices. Looking to trying more of the menu.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday going to work. Ordered 3 breakfasts for the crew. 45 minutes later, food did not arrive? While everyone who entered after us had received their's! Inquired with owner and was told it would be ready " soon "? I had already paid as we were on a time schedule. Confronted the person again and food still wasn't ready? We left ! I'LL NEVER GO BACK !.And it's too bad because they have really good food....

Fries were greasy and burger with infused bacon was a bit strange tasting. Too much sauce added to the burger, thought it was going to be better with the photos posted. Service was decent and the place looks nice was the good aspects.

The most friendly and attentive service, the food is very fresh and is supplied from establishments close to the same town, strengthening its economy. I'm only here for a few days but I will continue visiting this place as many times as possible. They are also very patient with the language. I don't know 100% English but they try to communicate and be patient, so I highly recommend this place.
Vegetarian options: They have food of the day and there are times when they are 100% vegan.
Kid-friendliness: There are dishes for children and they have special chairs for them
