I’ve gone to this diner many times over the last year or so. The staff is always friendly and the prices are great and the portions are decent. However, each time I visit I ask for well done fries and regardless of the cook it seems to be an elusive option. It would take another 30-45 seconds in the fryer to do so, to satisfy a customer, but no matter how I say it they come to the table set and white. The last time I asked for well done fries the waitress write it down and I then verbalized to her to tell the cook that I want actual well done fries. Once again they arrive soft and white. I don’t get it. Probably lost a customer over such a simple request.

Tuesday February 4th, 2025 My family and I of 6 went in for breakfast around 12:30pm. The place was busy but there were two tables open. A lady was in front of us waiting to be sat and told us she would sit at the counter so we could have the tables. When the staff finally came over to seat her she explained she wanted to sit at the counter to allow us to have the tables. The lady working refused and told the lady to take a table and we could wait. I was unpleased with how rude the staff came across. We left and will not be going back. Zero stars

Good diner fare. Excellent, friendly service. Standard diner setup, very dated, a bit run down (but still charming).

Jerry's dinner is a nice little hip brunch joint just in the gas station. It's got a nice old 80's restaurant vibe to it. The restaurant was clean, not crowded when we visited on a late morning. The staff were polite and quick to take our orders. The food was good, too! It's all what you expect for a brunch joint, plus the all-day breakfast menu option means you can get your waffles, or eggs Benedict anytime you want during open hours.
I recommend stopping here for a bite to eat if you're in the area and/or on the road going through here.

Vegetarian options: Non-meat items available on the menu.

Dietary restrictions: Speak to staff regarding dietary restrictions.

Parking: Located at a gas station, with ample free parking space.

Kid-friendliness: Family-friendly restaurant for all ages.

Wheelchair accessibility: Located on the ground first floor. No stairs nor escalators required.

Been coming here for years and never leave hungry. Ordered 2-piece chicken with wedge fries and 2-piece fish & Chips for Take-out. Very tasty. One of the best places in town for Fish & Chips. Other places have shrunk the size of the fish, but thankfully, not here. Great breakfasts as well. Usually quite busy at lunch hour, so we stop by later on, or get our order to go.

Great food at a great price. Very affordable. Nothing fancy. Just a roadside restaurant. We had breakfast, which was great, but we'll be back to check out the fish & chips etc. later.

So, I tried this place for breakfast, was impressed by the price and quality of the food, as well as how friendly the staff was. I decided to come back for lunch awhile later, to see if it was consistent...and it was.

Jerry's Diner isn't fancy, but it's a -diner-. The food is simple, wholesome food and is exactly what you'd expect a diner to serve.

It tastes great, and satisfies your innards in a way that a lot of restaurants fail to, with its classic menu items like hot sandwiches, hamburgers, seafood, and of course it's basic breakfasts.

The prices are a real treasure, considering how expensive even fast food has gotten.

They make their own coleslaw, which is absolutely full of flavor, and if they don't make their own tartar sauce then I want tge name of their supplier.

The booth cushions could use reapolstering, but are still very comfortable.

All in all, I highly recommend giving this place your business. Good food, friendly staff, great prices.
