We’re regular customers, usually having the Singapore noodles and the Shanghai noodles. Last order we noticed the portions significantly smaller… tried again today and thoroughly disappointed when we opened the container and saw the portion half what it used to be. And, they charge extra for the take out paper bag!
Posted pic tells the story, these containers would be loaded with Singapore noodles, not anymore!
That’s the last order.

We ordered today and when we brought it home and opened it, we were very disappointed. All noodles, the veggies were missing in the Singapore noodles and dry. The Canton noodles were dry and all noodles. The chicken in the fried rice was rubbery. When I placed the order I asked for extra vegetables but was told there was plenty. Not true, extremely skimpy. The wonton soup and the egg rolls were bland. They had pictures of the dishes but theres no way our dishes looked like that. The picture of the Singapore noodles showed bean sprouts and veggies but it all missing. Very disappointing, especially when I paid $95 for this meal. They lost me as a customer

We love the food here, some of our favourites are the Singapore noodles and chicken fried rice off the menu! The owners are always kind to me, and especially love when I bring my son with as they have seen him grow up over the years! I have lived in Calgary, Halifax and have travelled across Canada, their food is some of the best I have had! The owners work long hours 6 days a week for many years! It was a little disheartening to read some of these reviews. We eat here monthly, it’s our go to takeout spot and we appreciate them! Thank you for the yummy food ❤️

I ordered a #4 and my beef and broccoli was good. The rest was not as fresh. Chicken balls were hard.

It’s hard to believe how rude they are at this place, i came in and it was completely dead, why would they not appreciate a customer in their deadest hour? I won’t go into further detail because I don’t want to slander a failing company that with some adjustments can be seriously great, one thing though, get actual red sauce

Especially on the Singapore noodles which is my all time favorite dish, completely different from when I ordered a month or so ago. This had barely any curry in it, 2 shrimp, 3 small pieces of chicken, a little less noodles which I van deal with but asked for very hot and didn't have any heat to it at all....disappointed especially with the price.point of it

Absolutely terrible customer service compared to anywhere I have been to. Don’t even follow the law of putting a pork sign on their menu. Or even mentioning to a new customer that an “EGG ROLL” has PORK in it. When asked about it, after we had a bite, they answered well this is how we make it, you should ask us before you order. Absolutely no sign of an apology but moreover showing attitude. Their menu had no sign of pork contents. I haven’t had meat in 15 years and today this place caused me to eat pork and I’m absolutely terrified of their service and the utmost concern for any of their menu items being vegetarian even if they promise it is.

Having traveled 2 hours for an appointment, I decided to order some take out chinese food. When we got home and opened up the bag of food, I found the chicken balls and egg rolls both burned. It's like they cooked them too long. The rice was too salty. I just wish we could find great chinese food in Nova Scotia. It's 3 years now, and yet to find great chinese food.

One of the worst food and customer experience you will get from bridgewater. Whoever owns this shop need to take a class on customer service.Food: the quantity was way less what you pay for. Baby portion items for adult and literally the lady who served me was pinpoint on the quantity. If she feels she served too much, she will put it back.2. Customer interaction was pathetic. They have to understand that the restaurant survive when people spend money, and they have to respect the people who come and buy food. A good smile and a thank you word will make a difference. Well, i didnt see none of it in this restuarant and when i paid the money , the lady who prepared it pushed the item as if she is giving out it for free. If i havent caught it, it must have been on the floor.NB: most of the chinese food restaurants in bridgewater are bad, but the quantity we get compared to here is way more. So if you are hungry, go somewhere else.

My husband and I love all sorts of Asian cuisine and have enjoyed Chinese food for many years, eating it in multiple cities and places across the world. Which is why I can say this was the worst I have ever had. We both had combo #4, I had the noodles and my husband had the rice. Both were burned and tasted horrible. Also incredibly oily. There is no way they cleaned the pan they used, because everything tasted like a bunch of old food all combined together. The eggroll also was over fried so it tasty super oily, the inside had zero spice or flavour. On top of that the portions are insanely small for the price. The take out containers were filled only halfway. The server would take a big spoon of rice and then knock off half of it before putting it in the container. She then literally dished out my noodles with chopsticks, COUNTING as she served. Then removing one noodle at a time. I wish I could say I was joking. Oh, and when we wanted to take away she was very irritated, tried to convince us to sit, because basically she didn’t want to use up her containers. Anyways, I wanted to take the food back but my husband said to just let it go and we will never eat there again. Please don’t waste your money. The oily, burned food was really really gross and the portions terrible.

Everything was low quality. Food tasted burned. The server was even pretty stingy with the rice and noodle portions. I watched as she carefully put only half of a serving amount into the container, and pulled a couple noodles out when she felt she had served too much.

Would love to be able to write about the food but I wasnt even able to get to that point.I ordered vegetable fried rice and when it was brought to me it was shrimp. I usually dont care if the order is wrong, but I dont eat meat or fish, so I had to say something. The server instead of trying to problem solve the situation, asked why I ordered shrimp. When I told them that I didn't they sort of just chuckled. I told them that they can keep the food for someone in the back. I felt really embarassed and not all that hungry anymore. I left without having eaten and out $20.I will not be returning.I guess the sitting area is good and I thought the general atmosphere of the workers was good until the mix up...

Ordered ahead, arrived on time, place was dead and food was not yet ready. The food itself was good however it cost about 50$ after tip and the portions were not what I expected for the money. We ordered combo 2 and a general Taos, no drinks, or other sides. See photos for reference.
