Love love Brookfield bakery!! We’ve bought snacks from here, honey, jam, maple butter, Christmas treats, and have tried a lot of the baking. Loving the butter tarts, date squares, sugar cookies…. Delicious. We’ve also stayed in the cafe for dinner and had grilled cheese sandwich and tea and coffee. This is a great stop on the way or as a destination. Popular place and we will go back regularly.

Just really great baking. I come for the fresh bread but always leave with cookies on top of it - especially the haystacks and the thimble cookies. There are a lovely selection of shortbreads there right now for Christmas, I just devoured a dozen that were topped with cream cheese icing and crushed candy cane!Parking: Some parking along the side if the building parked parallel to the road. You can use the MacQuarrie's parking lot if the space is tight.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, doors are wide enough, a little bit tight inside.

Wonderful bakery. The apple fritter was still hot. It did not make it in to the car ?. Everything was fresh and smelled soooo good. Ended up buying lots of stuff.

We stopped there for coffee before watching the tidal bore at the Shebanacadie River. The cinnamon rolls were so good, we actually stopped back the next day for 4 more! They were flaky and buttery, the best we've ever had.
