Great place to stop for a meal near Kejimkujik National Park! The fish & chips was hot and fresh and great amount of fish. Great milkshake too. The service and ambience was the best part - warm and cozy.
Vegetarian options: Soups, subs, starters.

This place is exactly the kind of local breakfast spot you want to see on your roadtrip. The food was good with generous portions, the service was friendly, and the interior is filled with unique historical tidbits. They also have a large outdoor area that includes a patio and park benches close to a playground. There are spots to park on both sides of the road, which was convenient for us with a trailer.

This is the ONLY place to eat for 45 minutes in ANY direction. I give them credit for location, healthy food options, and they serve wine and beer I think, but I don’t discover that until I was checking out. Please support this business. It’s vital to the area.

My experience was terrible. We left before we even put in a order. We got there at 12:30. The waitress took her food and went and set down to have her lunch. We waited to put our order in but no one came to take it. Other people had been there for 30 mins. and left. We left after 30 mins. With no service. The restaurant was full when we left. I hope that they got something to eat.
Was there on my way to Keji , along with my wife & two kids . Needless to say , was given a very cold reception ( obvious reasons ) , ordered veg sandwiches , black coffee & Apple juice for kids , waited for about 47 minutes , looking at other guests being served very nicely even those who came much later after us . Nobody bothered to even wipe our table ( did after I requested) , did not offer water . I am pretty sure each & every guest over there must have felt our predicament ( we were only family from diversity there) . After waiting for 47 minutes , I inquired about our order , which was not even started & the lady ( who seemed the owner) spoke very coldly to her staff about our order … we preferred to leave from that place … felt utterly disrespected .. would never stop by again …
