The Canning Cider House / PayDay Cider

We have bought take out from this location a number of times and it was great, however, the last couple times has been pretty terrible. We order at 4:30 for pickup at 5:00. The fish has been incinerated to the point that the batter is non existent on half of the fish and the rest is just severely overcooked. Some of the ends were burnt near black. The fish was only just warm and was completely cold halfway through the first piece.The fries sat in a puddle of grease (I get it, it's greasy food but a puddle of grease to the point it drops from the fries?) They were also cold to the touch and half of them were so dry and hard they weren't edible. No seasoning either.The fish is pretty pricey so for the money we spent (80.00)it shouldn't be this way. After talking about this experience with many folks throughout the community, they also have been having similar experiences. I'd be wary of buying from here if you were considering it, it seems that their quality control on their food is non existent.

We tried an assortment of food from The Canning Cider House tonight and we became regulars!We also tried the grapefruit and watermelon lime cider which are both so tasty.Can't recommend them more highly!The Gluten Free pizza is soooo good!

This restaurant might have the best fish&chips that I've ever had. I had it with the Pay Day Traditional Dry and it paired really well. I would highly recommend stopping in!

The food was amazing. Only suggestion I would make if for the cook to turn down the fryers so the batter don't cook faster than the fish.
