Small family run diner in a remote part of the island. We got takeaway here. Something was tasty, something not really. The cashier was friendly. It seems to me that the order took a little longer to prepare than it usually takes in other places.

server was very kind, however the chef argued with me after i sent back the lobster, telling me it was perfectly fine - the meat was stuck to the shell and extremely dry. i’ve had lots of lobster in my life and a simple google search will tell you the meat stuck to the shell and dry means it’s overcooked or the meat is not okay to eat. the chef sent the lobster back to me expecting me to eat it. the rest of the food was great and again the server was very kind, i felt bad the chef made him talk to us instead of talking to us herself. very disappointed. lobster should taste firm, sweet, and should come out of the shell easily and be tasty, especially for 35$

Had burger and fries and wife had seafood chowder, ordered works on the burger and didn't come with lettuce and tomato, the seafood chowder had lots of seafood but tasted like plain milk,a butter tarte that didn't taste like a butter tart.
Also thought this was a family restaurant but there's three Angie s apparently.

We've eaten delicious seafood chowder all over Nova Scotia and PEI. Angie's was hands down the best.
Nor Easter burger was phenomenal!!! Juicy, flavorful, homemade goodness!!! Was pleasantly surprised by it even as takeout! Highly recommend stopping by! Server was awesome, pushing through the rush/heat and still keeping everyone happy! Definitely will be back!

We absolutely love Angie’s ! We are regulars there and can attest to how delicious many of their menu options are. The food is consistently awesome. Angie and her staff really have a great rapport and it shows in the service they provide. We’re always greeted at the door with smiles and hellos. Service is quick and food is piping hot. We really love how we get to chat with the other customers too as it’s not a massive restaurant it leads in to some great conversation with the tourists. Did I forget to mention their yummy deserts and great coffee ! Can’t go without mentioning those ! I’m pretty fussy about ordering chowder anywhere bc my mom made the best chowder ever however recently decided to go for it and order Angie’s seafood chowder and boy it didn’t disappoint. It’s beautiful. Creamy and buttery and filled with all the good stuff. I actually went back two days later and ordered it again. We also very much appreciate that Angie hires a lot of students giving them summer Income. What a great group of young adults. Angie goes above and beyond for her customers and employees ♥️See you soon guys !!!!!!
Never had the chance to eat. We were the first in, server walked by us and ignored us several times. Service was so bad Other who had come in after us went up to server behind the counter snd had to force him to take their orders, while we waited. The server continued this until we decided to leave after 25 minutes of never having been welcomed, talked to or had drink orders taken at all.

I and two friends stopped by Angie's on July 11th, 2025 after riding the northwestern half of the Cabot Trail Loop. Being lunchtime, we thought Angie's would be a nice place to try the local food. We entered Angie's and sat down. We were never greeted, but wanted patiently, nevertheless. No one came to us in 20 minutes to offer to get us drinks or take an order. We were completely ignored. Not wanting to wait for eternity for a restaurant that clearly didn't want to serve us, we left without saying a word. We rode about a half kilometer back up the Cabot Trail to Morrison's Family Restaurant. There, we were warmly greeted, our drinks served promptly and food ordered and delivered quickly which was delicious. We also had a server who took some time to chat with us about our travels and tell us a little about the local area. I am going to leave a great review for Morrison's Family Restaurant. I actually want to thank Angie's, because without the poor service they offered, We would not have discovered and then had a great dining experience at Morrison's Family Restauarant.

It's for food along the Cabot trail but there is better.
1.food is overpriced
2. I got a burger and asked for no cheese on it. However, I received it with cheese and after telling the waiter there was a mistake. They took it back to the kitchen and they merely just scraped the cheese off of the surface instead of cooking me a new Patty
3. Great service but food is 4/10

We stopped in as we were passing through, there were 2 other tables, 1 eating 1 ordering. We waited almost an hour for a cold plate and 10” cheese pizza.
All the food I've had there is delicious but her burgers...amazing! Juicy but not greasy, tasty, great value for your money.
To be honest, it was probably our least favorite food on our entire Maritimes tour. Lobster roll was not fresh, portion was tiny, and food was bland. Overpriced and overrated for what it is.
Delicious food, superb and friendly service!
