La Vieille École - Resto sur Mer

I found this place through facebook/instagram but I don’t think the food quantity/quality justified the price. The entrees (garlic shrimp & fried haddock) had some roasted peas and carrots but for the price tag it wasn’t that appealing. Lobster roll was fine but not a noticeable amount of meat for the price. Maybe it’s slim pickings on the coast but if I had a choice to go back, I’d find another place.

A fantastic restaurant in an unexpected location. The restaurant was delightful; my father, husband and I stopped in on our last night on our holiday. The food was beautifully prepared, although we weren't surprised at the quality, we were surprised by the generous portions. I am still dreaming of the haddock in the divine lobster sauce, and all three of us had completely overindulged and enjoyed every last bite, right down to the coconut cream pie which appeared to be homemade. It was one of the best I've had. I would most certainly direct anyone to this quaint restaurant without hesitation.

This was the absolute best restaurant I have eaten in. The food was so fresh and delicious. Staff was friendly, helpful and made you feel so welcome. friends and I had a girls trip where we also stayed in the Airbnb above the restaurant and it the most perfect time we had. The best we have stayed in!!! Thank you for the great experience. Recommend 100%

The whole lobster and whole snow crab are outstanding and very competitively priced. When you add in the view, this is a must-stop restaurant.

Food was delicious, service was great. We ate on the back patio and the views were amazing. Lobster poutine was one of the best we’ve had. Be sure to visit the market nearby on the weekends!

We stayed at La Vielle ecole overnight and it was really nice; the view was amazing but above all the food at the restaurant was exceptional; sooo delicious especially the seafood dishes; the next day we had to have takeout before leaving the area. We definitely will come back just to come to the restaurant—amazing chef!!!!

A friend and I stopped in for coconut cream pie and coffee. Both were excellent
