Hm... we were taken in by the sign that said "Oldest Factory Outlet for Rappie Pies". We thought what the heck is a rappie pie? Whatever it was, this place looked AUTHENTIC. And boy howdy, it was. The older man working there explained what a rappie pie was, we ordered one and it was PIPING hot. We ate it outside on the picnic table. Not going to say we loved the rappie pie, but that's on us. It apparently was an excellent version of the pasty dish.

Parents were from the Yarmouth area, they made Rappie Pie from scratch and over time I helped them, then I learned from them. Today "blocks" from Rapure Acadienne is a gift from Heaven. Living in Nevada and used my last two blocks, I pray that someday they can be shipped to me from Church Point, NS, CA. But in the meantime keep up the good work Rapure Acadienne.
