Checked hours to be sure you were open because of the holidays. Your holiday hours listed you as open. After driving from Yarmouth we were disappointed to findbyou closed! What a waste of ⛽️ p
We dropped by and picked up a few rappie pies. They were really good, as they have always been!!?
Parents were from the Yarmouth area, they made Rappie Pie from scratch and over time I helped them, then I learned from them. Today "blocks" from Rapure Acadienne is a gift from Heaven. Living in Nevada and used my last two blocks, I pray that someday they can be shipped to me from Church Point, NS, CA. But in the meantime keep up the good work Rapure Acadienne. You make so many of us lovers of Rappie Pie potatoes, pealed, liquid removed then put into a vacuum sealed package with your name proudly on it. Alan "Amirault" now spelled with an " e " but with a sure love of Yarmouth and "Amiraults Hill"
Hm... we were taken in by the sign that said "Oldest Factory Outlet for Rappie Pies". We thought what the heck is a rappie pie? Whatever it was, this place looked AUTHENTIC. And boy howdy, it was. The older man working there explained what a rappie pie was, we ordered one and it was PIPING hot. We ate it outside on the picnic table. Not going to say we loved the rappie pie, but that's on us. It apparently was an excellent version of the pasty dish.
