I tried their Buttermilk biscuits, market soup of the day (spiced pumpkin soup) , Squash Gnocci.
The soup was warm and flavourful-perfect for fall amd winter. Buttermilk biscuits were soft and tasty too. The gnocchi had charred broccoli amd roasted Butternut squash and it was great as well. The person who attended to me was so pleasing and nice. People kept coming, I think its rare to find eateries which serve naturally vegetarian dishes which are tasty and not just mock meat. Now I get the hype about it.

This was our first experience at 2DD and unfortunately the food lacked luster and flavour. After being recommended by others we decided to try and were disappointed with quality of food. The crispy skin salmon was missing the sautéed fennel and kale. Our table over heard the staff say to the kitchen that they forgot it. We gave the staff time to correct the issue without asking direct but 5-10 min after that we had to ask that it was missing and our server tried to act surprised like it was the first she heard of it. The other food at the table included burgers and the scallop pasta. All were bland to taste and nothing that really was anything that would make us want to return. Only positive was the atmosphere was cozy.

We went to 2 Doors Down for lunch. The place was busy and we didn’t have a reservation, so we sat at the bar. I ordered the Kale Caesar salad with chicken - the chicken was a bit bland and the salad didn’t have much dressing at first. I asked for extra dressing, and that made a big difference.

The service was great, and the food came out relatively quickly despite how busy it was. Overall, it was good once adjusted, but not amazing.

We overheard waitresses mention that kale and fennel were missing from a dish we order but they decided they would serve anyway, with the thought nobody would notice. Well we did notice and took 20 minutes to get someone’s attention to bring missing portion of veg…. The French fries and burgers were extremely over salted that they were not edible and were sent back. Would not go back.

I recently visited this restaurant and I was quite disappointed with the overall experience. The menu has very limited choices and unfortunately the available dishes weren’t impressive. The food is also extremely expensive for just one person, and the quality doesn’t match the price.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this place to others. I hope they improve their menu options and pricing in the future.

Brought our baby in for a lunch and asked for our vegetables to be cooked extra well so we could share with our baby. The kitchen staff gave us a side plate of vegetables cooked just for her with no charge. Just fantastic! The food was delicious and it was a nice quiet afternoon spot to grab lunch. Thanks!

Great food, fair price and the most beautiful staff you could ever meet.

Ate inside on this Thursday evening. The 2 female wait staff were attentive, and extremely friendly. The meal was above expectations. We both ordered the pan fried cod and paired it with a Tidal Bay. We highly recommend this dish. The presentation of the meal was upper scale and the blending of the flavours was delicious. For desert, the lemon merangue Creme Brule and strawberry shortcake were bang on! I rarely give a tip above 15% but this time the service and food deserved special recognition. Will plan to return.

Food was excellent and our wait staff very attentive. Space is small and not very private, but overall a great experience.

Was there for my birthday about a week ago and thoroughly enjoyed the night. Staff was super friendly and considerate. I had the chicken Parm and it paired great with the red wine I had. Super cool vibe inside. I'll go back.
