I've been to this place a lot since moving to Dartmouth a few years ago. Love going here with old friends to catch-up over beers or to grab a bite with my wife (she loves it here too)!

My boyfriend and I went out for supper and a few beverages. Battery had a wall of choices on tap and the amazing bartender was able yo explain each beer and cider to a T. Even picked the perfect ones for each of us based on what we said for likes/dislikes. The food was amazing, loads of flavour and good size portions. Lots of choices on the menu as well. We sat at the bar as all the tables were solid packed. Very energetic and friendly atmosphere making the wide array of people fit in comfortably. All the staff were friendly and upbeat as well and the music wasn't too loud at all. Will definitely be making this place a regular stop.

Battery Park has great beer, great food, and great staff! We had the vegan burger (beets) and the fish tacos - both were amazing! The back patio has a great vibe. The inside is cool too but kind of dark.

I Have to say me and my girlfriend dropped in here Saterday July 23/22 and we were just gonna stay for about an hour and a half but when we got out on the patio and had our first drink we knew we were gonna stay for the whole afternoon and they let us stay on the patio for a while without saying to us that there is a time limit on the patio like some places have :( Our waitress Eryn was the best she was so friendly and super nice to chat with so the drinks were wonderful and I have to tell you the Nachoe's were the best we have ever had hands down .If you want a great place with very wonderful staff and a great atmosphere then this is the place to go ,,We actually had two waitress's and they were the best . I have to put a great shout out to the cook and his Nachoe's I would rate this place 10 out of 10 Derick and Judy .

We took our 1 year old here for dinner on our last day in Dartmouth. There was a bit of a wait as it is a busy place, but the service was good and so was the food. They have many different local beers on tap to try and an array of various pub foods. They provided hot water for us to make our sons oatmeal. It was a pleasant meal. Nothing spectacular, but very good and worth a try.
We landed in with some friends who highly recommended this place. Wide selection of beers and also vegan friendly :) Staff were very genuine and never left us waiting. Ran the board for their beers by way of flights :) Just a short ferry /walk from Halifax Ferry Terminal.

Stopped in here by chance for dinner.... not an exhaustive menu (burgers and apps) but the food we had was over the top in flavor! 20 brews to choose from and a fabulous Argentinian malbec... great food, great ambiance, great pricing. Will be back real soon!

We weren't expecting Battery Park to be busy on a damp Covid Tuesday in March, but I guess the word's out - this place is a 'destination'. We had a 10min wait and that was fine. If it had been 20min, we'd have gone elsewhere. Yes, it was busy, but there was good separation between groups/tables. We felt perfectly safe. Our server was very helpful - particularly because the barriers prevented us from viewing the expansive beer menu. We told him what we liked and, after samples, agreed that his were the best suggestions. Most enjoyable beers. I ordered the curried lamb burger with caesar salad ("made with real anchovies"), and my date ordered PigMac with fries. Both meals were excellent - and the fries were outstanding. My date thought the caesar salad was too strong. Bonus for me - I stopped sharing it!! My only comment - which, I must admit, was deftly answered by our waiter - was that my caesar salad came with two delicious anchovies on top. I mentioned that I would have preferred them finely chopped and mixed in (which is what I did). Our waiter said they do that so that those who find anchovies too strong can easily lift them off their salad. Good answer, sir! We'll be back, for sure.

I've been here a few times over the years but on my most recent visit I left feeling very disappointed. It had been awhile since my last trip previous to this one, maybe 2 years ago and I would always rave about their burgers to anyone asking for a recommendation, but I must say something has changed. My partner and I both got burgers, him a chicken burger, me a regular nothing fancy one. The bun was dry, like it had freezer burn or been sitting out for ages, the meat was bland and the whole thing was just horrible. Honestly I didn't even eat half of it and left to go hit a drive through. His chicken burger was nothing remotely exciting either. Thinking about it I havent heard anyone talking about this place for awhile now and I feel like I used to so much. The service was great and the cocktails were good but I wont be back for a burger anytime soon.
