One of my favourite places to visit. They have the best breakfast sandwiches. Their cookies and breads are fantastic too. A great place to stop and get a coffee.

I discovered Birdies Bread & Co. today by chance and I’m so glad I did! It’s such a beautiful shop. I bought a loaf of bread, a pain au chocolat, and an almond croissant, everything was absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. The service was excellent as well. I’m not sure if they also serve drinks or coffee, but I’ll definitely be going back to find out! :)

Birdies is so great, all their baked good are amazing, it’s unfortunate that they are closed on Sunday’s and not open until 9 on other days, the only day we are able to go is Saturdays, and we live in the neighborhood! I hope they change their ours!
Best bakery in HRM. Almost all sourdough based. Pastries and bread; lots of variety. Almost all great! They mill their own flour! What more can be said? A nice bike along the water from Halifax — or a drive.
