Cafe Marco Polo delights on all fronts. A great selection of in-house baked good (the carrot cake is my favourite); lot's of sandwiches (Montreal smoked meat hits the spot every time); breakfast fare (their in-house breakfast sandwich is yummy!); and friendly, attentive staff. They feature an espresso roast that is one of my favourites on either side of the harbour. The space is great to hang out in—at times bustling, at others, peacefully quiet.
This place is fine. They pull a good shot and it's in a good part of the city with nice seating. It's a little bit cold and does little to overcome it's hard condo vibe. All the food comes vacuum sealed within an inch of its life in plastic like if you order a piece of banana bread they put it on a plate wrapped in plastic? Great service and nice atmosphere. I ordered a mochachino with a blueberry loaf cake. The cake was delicious and the coffee was good as well. The store was quite spacious with lots of sitting area. A nice spot to hang out with friends and enjoying
