Legit Japanese joint. From the menu to the staff and the way they treat you to the food itself, this place deserves its excellent reputation. Our servers were so pleasant and friendly at all times, the drinks were good (especially for the price) and the food was exceptional. We ordered the agedashi tofu and karaage chicken as appetizers and I think the karaage was in the top 5 I’ve ever had, including in Japan and among the many Japanese restaurants in the SF Bay Area. I kept saying to my husband, “I think this is some of the best sushi I’ve ever had.” This place was bustling and busy from the second we entered till the second we left, but the staff were so kind to each person throughout it all! We had the chicken karage and some rolls. The fish was so fresh, the avocado clearly used at the perfect time and the sushi rice was my favourite part. Can’t get over how incredible it was. We will be back soon!
