Always wanted to try Janina's after smelling the food when going into RBC and all I can say is WOW ! Decent prices, Friendly staff and fast service (in/out in 2 minutes). Tried the Penne and it was to die for and the rolls are amazing :)
This food is incredible to warm you up on a winter's day. The home-made rolls are amazing, so get there early as sometimes they sell out! The homemade meals and specials are well-priced with large portions and lots of options. Tasty! You can order ahead by phone to have your order ready for pickup, but usually the line is fairly quick.Recommend the Pan-Fried Haddock, because they have the best tartar sauce I've ever had!
Janina's is my favourite Friday lunch spot. They have a different special every day. Friday is when they do their fried haddock and potatoes special. The fish is hot perfectly crisp on the outside and flaky on the inside, never overdone. The potatoes are just the right portion, with a delicious herb blend on them while they roast.
