Great choices for Filipino/Asian products. From fresh produce to canned goods, snacks and frozen meats! Always happy to support this local store. They have another location in Halifax so it's very convenient for us. They offer delivery as well (FYI).
Kabayan is our go-to grocery joint for everything Filipino. The only reason it's 4/5 is because the Dartmouth store is too cramped & small, and the price point is too high sometimes. For example, the Kopiko Blanca in Atlantic Superstore is priced at $8 while Kabayan was selling the same product at $13 (Aug 2022). I think they need to make sure their prices are competitive before Superstore in Barrington Street runs them out of business.
Not only do they have a large selection of Pinoy food, they also have great staff. They are very helpful and courteous and most importantly patient. Thank you for helping my family ?
