Good sushi and ramen. Sushi portions were good and the ramen is absolutely tasty. I can say it is one of the best sushi and ramen place in Halifax/Dartmouth area.

This is what a pork Katsu should be! and not those paper thin ones. Get your ramen , sushi and Japanese comfort food fix here at Kaizen.I highly recommend the Katsu, the Curry, R2 Ramen, Ninja roll everything else is also amazing just too much to recommend! Try it all you won't be disappointed.
Happy to go try this in person. Prices are high but I think a lot of the food is meant to be shared as the portions are huge.I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen which I only got halfway through. The bowl was twice as wide as my hand, definitely the biggest portion in town! I took the rest home for another meal the next day. The pork was the best I've had in town, it was literally melting in my mouth. The noodles were delicious and chewy; definitely handmade. The broth wasn't as creamy and heavy as others I've had in town but I appreciated this as it was lighter on my stomach. The vegetables were delicious and they load the ramen with veggies. It wasn't too spicy so I asked for some extra chili oil on the side.I love the atmosphere it seems like a very community oriented spot. I really want to try the sushi next time!

This place is an absolute vibe. The owners and staff were so welcoming and friendly. I got takeout but while I was waiting they gave me water and a snack. The place is cozy and the food was sooooo good. I got a spicy ramen and a regular ramen with chashu pork and lots of veg. I also got gyoza dumplings. I will absolutely be back. This place is a Dartmouth treasure.

Went to pick up a holly roll and a maki. The atmosphere is deffinatlu hole i the wall under rated place, this is where you take your hipster date, not your high life halifax date. Takeout took less than 15 minutes, and i just finished. The maki was aight. The holly roll makes me want to buy a party platter for myself, gosh darn was that fantastic.
