La Cucina Cafe Pizzeria and Spaghetti House

Drove 40 minutes for our favorite Italian dinner on a nice Sunday. Nope, not happening!
Turned away at the door because they had just accepted a large phone order and the kitchen was tied up for the next hour.
Not impressed... don't accept a last minute phone order if it puts your kitchen in such a kerfuffle that you're turning away longtime customers.

Walked in and waited to be seated. I was ignored. Wasn’t acknowledged. Girl at front seemed annoyed and upset. So I left. Have told everyone I know to avoid this place.

Small portion with minimal flavor. Not worth $$
24 for pasta with pizza toppings and flavorless sauce, and 13 for tiny meatballs that also have no flavor.

Strongly suggest never going here! My friend and I ordered takeout for two cheese tortellini’s. They told us it would be ready in 15 minutes. However, we arrived after 15 minutes and had to wait for an additional 20 minutes. Just for a waitress to come out and tell as that they were actually out of tortellini (we had already paid and waited 25 minutes at this point).

We then asked for a refund and neither of the waitresses knew how to refund us to the machine. She had to call the manager to figure out how to properly refund us. She asked us if we wanted anything else instead so I said I would try the carbonara. However, they said they would not discount my new meal at ALL for the inconvenience. We left and safe to say we will never return!

Don’t waste your time here.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! It's not a large restaurant, but it has a cosy feel. The menu has a great selection and all of it is top-notch. The only complaint I have is the tables tend to be a little wobbly.

We loved the food! My husband and I went for a quick bite before our movie and we were seated, served and settled up just in time. We ordered half salads and they did not disappoint, our server made a great recommendation. We’ll be back to try some bigger bites.
The decor could be updated to match the quality they’re delivering. It’s definitely a comfortable and cozy space. There was one staff member I could overhear make a complaint to a server about seating choices, we chose the only window seating over the back.

Decided to try La Cucina tonight. Seated quickly, service was pleasant and quick. Had the meatballs as an appetizer, so good you could sell the tomato sauce alone and I would buy it. My wife had a mushroom ravioli and I had seafood pasta. Both were amazing flavors and completely enjoyed. Highly recomend this place.

Service was ok, waitress was very nice but overall food was slow to come out. The dining area was very dimly lit and seemed very dark. Food was quite pricey for what it is, not great but not horrible.

This is usually mine and my partners go to place for pasta so we took my mother and grandmother. Unfortunately, this time around it was awful enough to write about and never go back. They were severely understaffed for a Sunday night, only two servers for the whole restaurant. No host or busser. That being said, other busy restaurants have better customer service. We showed up and didn’t have 2/4 forks and only 3/4 side plates. Our server never came to refill our waters or ask us if we wanted more drinks. Everyone else’s pasta was great! Mine, extremely over done. Practically mush. Flavour was great and the seafood was perfect. I could only eat the seafood and a small portion of the pasta. These issues were brought up to the waitress who proceeded to bill us without any compensation or discount. When we asked about it, they said they would have to call their manager to approve it and made us feel guilty for bringing it up. Very embarrassing and disappointing for me and my family after we hyped up how great it was.
