tonight's meal was absolute garbage. i ordered it first several weeks ago. it was quite good. 2 times since that it has gone downhill fast. it is now not fit fore pigs. imagine beef and broccoli with almost no beef and hard woody broccoli and that was the high point. the ginger beef had no peppers and was wet and soggy, good bye may garden, wont miss you

Eggrolls is delectable. It is open all year round even though the sign says MAY on it.

I ordered vegetable chop suey which should be celery, carrot, bok choy, broccoli, pea pods, onion, etc or some combination of VEGETABLES. What i got was a big ol container of bean sprouts. Also I ordered chicken chow mein which should be NOODLES. NOPE! Guess what I got? Yep! A big ol container of bean sprouts again. Worst waste of $70 ever. When I called they said they weren't going to do anything about it so I highly recommend choosing a different restaurant who cares about their food and their customers!

This place rocks, me and the wife just live a block away so we come here all the time. Good dive Chinese place. Stick to the basics here and you'll have a good time. This place doesn't raise the bar, and they don't lower it

Don't expect gourmet sh*t, if you want reasonably priced Chinese when you are baked. This is the spot

My first week in Dartmouth, went out to eat with two of my friends. Food was horrible, we ordered chicken Chowmein but they brought beans sprout a few pieces of dried and stale chicken stuffed in soy sauce. Other foods like egg rolls, fried rice were stale too. We asked server (server was nice) to change it but instead Chinese lady came and said she can't do anything. Food was horrible at its best. The worst restaurant experience in my life. At this point they should realise how bad their food is and close down the restaurant.
We ordered:
Dinner for 3: $65
Drinks - 2 diet coke: $7
We asked hot sauce but they charged for that as well: $1
Total bill was $80 but we barely ate anything. We are outgoing and we don't mind paying for food , but this is absolutely scam. I urge everyone reading this review, please please stay away from this restaurant and save your money.
If I have to rate, food is absolutely 0/5.
Please close down.

Was not a fan. Chicken balls were mostly soggy dough, sauce was flavorless. The rest of the food wasn't much better.

Ordered takeout for my nephew to pick up and I put his name as the pick up person for the order. He arrived to pick up the order and was told that there wasn’t an order for him. He waited one hour for the restaurant to figure out that they did in fact have his order. I had sent him the text confirmation and he had the phone number of the order but it still took the restaurant one hour to determine that they did in fact have the order which by then had been sitting for one hour and was therefore stone cold when it was finally given to him.Update. Nephew ate his General Guy Chicken and let me know it was not at all like the chicken on the website and that the sauce was not good at all. Probably tasted worse due to the fact it was cold. I haven’t received feedback for the 2 combo plates that the others ate.Restaurant food is expensive. I am not happy when I feel like I have wasted my money.I always add a tip on take out orders, but I wished I had not rewarded this negative experience with a tip.We have ordered take out from Modern Orchid Dartmouth Crossing for pickup by another party and have never encountered any problem.Their food has always been hot and delicious and very reasonably priced.

The food was delicious, the service was also great. We were the only table there but the take out was very busy!! I would go back for sure (or order from there)!!

Terrible. I think my ginger beef was cooked last week. So soggy and pale in colour.

I went to eat here a lot during the earlier hours of the day. It was very quiet and pleasant, and the food was fantastic. The waiters were very chatty and interested in learning a little about us. Although I do not live in the area, this restaurant and the food are one of the major things I miss and will revisit when I am back in the area.

Jst came for a quick meal with family. Randomly tried the bean veg sprout chowmein, then fried rice with veggies. It was best ever tasty veg meal for us. Spring roll though bit expensive for the quantity but was worth trying.Service was awesome. Great homely place with such positive and inquisitive environment. We ended up ordering 3 more dishes from menu . They were all so delectable neither very spicy nor mild.
